
In the thirty-seventh year of Qin Shi Huang (210 BC), the First Emperor toured the southeast and went to Huiji (in present-day Shaoxing) to worship Dayu. Standing stone to praise the virtue of the Qin kingdom. Because to this day, major things must be remembered in stone, thinking that carving stones can be immortal. This matter was entrusted to Li Si to handle, because the Taishan stone carvings and the Yishan stone carvings were all works of Li Si. Lisi wrote it himself, wrote it himself. When it is finished, it is handed over to the stonemason to put on the stone, and the stone carving stands on goosebill mountain. This is the birth of the famous carved stone.
In the same year of Lishi, the First Emperor died; two years later, Li Si was beheaded by Zhao Gao at Xianyang and destroyed the Three Tribes; four years later the Qin Dynasty collapsed.
The Lisi Monument was enshrined by scholars. According to the Southern Song Dynasty Jiatai "Huijizhi" and Qianlong's "Shaoxing Fuzhi", during the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a Yao Lingwei person who was very capable of climbing mountains. Within a day, I went up Mount Qinwang and didn't find a stele; I went up to Mount Goosebi and went to look for the stone carvings. At Ebi Mountain, I saw a stone house with a monument inside. The text is faintly visible, and the painting is missing. More than twenty years later, Ebi Mountain only stored the stone house of the stele, and the stele was gone.
In the year of Emperor Huizong of Yuanhui to the first year of zheng (1341), Shen Tufu, the governor of Shaoxing Road, used the old copy of his family and the Yishan stele copied by Xu Xuan to be carved on the front and back of a stone and placed in the Fuxue Ji Gu Pavilion. Who knows, during the Kangxi Dynasty, the inscription was polished by the "damn" stonemasons. This matter was shelved until the fifty-seventh year of Qianlong (1792), when Li Hunt, the prefect of Shaoxing, a calligraphy enthusiast, asked Qian Yong to put a double hook on the stone of Shen Tu's ben, or put it in the fuxue. After the Ding Revolution, it became Shaoxing Jishan Middle School. The existing ones are located in the Great Yuling Monument Gallery. The stele is 2.20 meters high, 1.05 meters wide, and has a small seal body. That is to say, the Huiji stone carvings seen now are re-carved, but they were re-carved during the Qianlong period.
I was fortunate to see this stele in April 2019 at Dayu Ling, which is engraved with Huiji stone carvings and Yishan stele on the front and back. The Yishan Stele also has a replica stele in situ and is stored in the Zoucheng Museum. When I went this month, the Stone Carving Museum was temporarily closed. The Taishan Lisi stone is carved in the Tai'an Dai Temple and has been introduced.
In the eleventh year of Qing Xianfeng (1861), Mr. Yu Yu, who lived in Suzhou, took his family to Shangyu Chapu (present-day Shangyu District, Shaoxing) in Zhejiang to escape the Taiping Army. Living in the Wang family's home, he borrowed a book called "The Golden Silk", each page of which was lined with old paper, and there were several seal books in the old paper, and there were twenty-seven words carefully. Old Mr. Yu Yu saw that "the font is serious and there is a flying cause, which is beyond the ability of the nearby person." Yu because there is a Qianshou character, suspected to be a Qin stele, and because there are thirty-seven characters, recalling that the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty will stand up Shi Songde in the thirty-seventh year. It is suspected that this is a broken stone. So, I wrote (copied) the seal character shadow down. After returning to Suzhou, I looked for it in the "Shi ji" book, and the twenty-seven characters were in the Huiji stone carvings recorded in the "Shi Ji". This frightened Old Mr. Yu Fan: "Or will there be a Takumoto in the human world?" ”
Because the twenty-seven fragments that Yu Fan saw were definitely not on the stone inscription of shaoxing fu xueli, it was a recarriage of the stele, it was the full text. So, where did these twenty-seven words come from? Where is the monument and when will it be erected? This left Yu Fan with a major question. Yu Fan couldn't solve this question, so he wrote down this matter and recorded it. Together with the twenty-seven words written down by the recorded text, mole was stoned and left on the wall of Quyuan. As a result, there were two sides of the book in the Qu Garden, "Qin Hui Ji Carved Stone Fragments". In the difficult period of exploration, we did not "explore" these two monuments, and we were fortunate to see these twenty-seven words.
Around 2015, Mr. Pan Shuoming of the former camera factory in Suzhou wrote an article entitled "Qinhui Ji carved stone fragments in Quyuan", which was published in Suzhou Daily. About last year, I saw this monument in Quyuan garden, and I was pondering the text on the stele, and it happened that Mr. Pan Shuoming came to Quyuan. The two men saw each other and talked about this monument. In fact, Mr. Pan Shuoming is engaged in maps, measuring by bicycle, and has published maps of Suzhou. I read his article and felt unfinished. Today, from another perspective, from the history of the stone carving, recount the experience of this stele, and copy the inscription by the way.

The pen and ink are dull, the paper is eroded, and it is not advisable to stick to the book, but the scenery writes its words, and I think it is just a play. This winter, when the history proves it, then all of these twenty-seven characters are in the carved stone, which is a great surprise, is it not good that those who do good things are evil according to the history of history? Or will there be a stone still in takumoto in the human world? Why do you mean that the shore of the poor sea has obtained this rare trace, and xi can't bear to hear it disappear? Seven as a scepter, Zhuang as strong, often as a dress. All changed the word. It is said that the text is often clothed with one word also. The criminal characters are moved to the bottom, the characters are used as two cars, the font is small, the modification is not, and it is combined with the carved stones of Yishan that Xu Jun saw and the inscription recorded by Zhang Hui.
