On January 15, the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association held its Ninth Member Congress. Especially in the past 2021, the Chinese Fable Literature Museum was completed and opened in Wenzhou, which is the only literary museum among the sixteen literary societies under the supervision of the China Writers Association, which is particularly gratifying.

Sun Jianjiang, president of the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association, made a report on the work of the eighth session of the Council with the title of "Opening up a New Situation in Fable Literature in the New Era". He said that the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association adheres to the principle of combining voluntariness and recommendation to develop members, and absorbs high-end talents and professionals in theory, creation, teaching, publishing, media, and reading promotion, which further improves the overall quality of the members of the Association and enriches the membership ratio structure. The three professional committees to which the Society belongs (the Professional Committee of Flash Fiction, the Professional Committee of Education and Teaching, and the Professional Committee of Children's Literature) have carried out influential work as important extensions of the business of the Society.

Xiao Jinghong, secretary of the party branch and vice president of the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association, said in the summary report that the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association attaches great importance to using the fables of the new era to tell Chinese stories well. In the revision of the charter of this session, the content of international cultural exchanges has been added, so that the fables and stories of contemporary China can be disseminated across cultures, so that the people of all countries can understand our lives and spiritual worlds through chinese contemporary fables, and make allegorical contributions to promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.

It is reported that most of the members of the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association are at the grassroots level and in the forefront of literature. Xiao Jinghong proposed, "Every member must have a deep sense of family and country, and have a great heart for the country. Our research will gain a reputation, and the world of fable literature in our country will be rejuvenated. The Chinese Fable Literature Research Association follows the instructions of the China Writers Association and actively participates in social governance and rural revitalization. Led by the party branch, it will be paired with Yandang Town and Caocun Town in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, and is also docking urban villages and agricultural enterprises in Beijing. ”

The conference received dozens of congratulatory letters and messages from the Chinese Poetry Society and other units and individuals. Ren Rongrong, a famous writer and translator who was 99 years old at the time, wrote a congratulatory message in his own handwriting: "I sincerely wish the creation of Chinese fables great achievements"; Cao Wenxuan, a famous writer, professor and winner of the International Hans Christian Andersen Award, sent a congratulatory message: "Fables are the crystallization of national wisdom." The meeting was presided over by Yu Tu, vice president and secretary general. The members of the Ninth Council of the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association were elected by secret ballot, and the Council elected Sun Jianjiang as the president, Xiao Jinghong, Wu Qiulin, Yu Tu, Zhou Bingbing, Bingbo, and Xie Lejun as vice presidents, and Yu Tu as secretary general. Fan Fu was hired as honorary president.
