In order to prosper the current prose creation, reward outstanding writers, help rural revitalization, and carry forward the nostalgic culture of Ouhai in the new era, the Ouhai District People's Government of Wenzhou City and the October Magazine Agency successfully held the 1st-5th "Qijun Prose Award". Writers Zhang Wei, Li Jingze, Zhu Yong, Zhou Xiaofeng, Li Xiuwen, Bao Erji Yuanye, Huang Deng, Shen Yun, Tong Zi, Ban Xia, Hu Donglin, Zhou Jimin, and artist Jia Zhangke have won awards and won widespread attention and praise from the society. The organizers have decided to launch the sixth "Qijun Prose Award" competition from now on.
In order to more comprehensively select outstanding prose works, the scope of this year's participation is adjusted to "personal prose works published at home and abroad and single prose works published in newspapers and periodicals at or above the provincial and municipal levels".
We welcome the active participation of prose writers and enthusiasts who meet the conditions for the award.
Specific matters:
1. Awards and Prizes:
The 6th "Qijun Prose Award" continues to set up two awards, "Work Award" and "Special Award", and 3 "Works Awards" and 1 "Special Award" are awarded respectively. Each work (piece) will be awarded a prize of 30,000 yuan.
2. Scope of Award:
A: "Work Award", a collection of personal prose works published from September 2020 to August 2022 (subject to the copyright page time) and a single prose work published in newspapers and periodicals at or above the provincial and municipal levels (each article is not less than 5,000 words).
B: "Special Award", a collection of personal prose works published in public from September 2020 to August 2022, featuring the writing of "countryside, nostalgia, nostalgia", with the theme of discovering, protecting and promoting local history and culture.
3. Award Method:

5. Composition of the jury:
The organizers will invite influential writers, poets and scholars at home and abroad to form an authoritative jury.
6. Award Method:
On the basis of full discussion, the jury will vote for 3 "work awards" and 1 "special award" works. In order to ensure the authority and fairness of the award, the list of judges will be announced to the public after the results of the award are decided. Inquiries will not be accepted during the award process.
7. Awards:
In November 2022, the award ceremony will be held in Ouhai District, Wenzhou City, and the winning authors, judges and representatives of some of the shortlisted authors will be invited to attend.
