She was favored by Shunzhi when she was less than ten years old, and soon after entering the palace, she died of incense and was buried in the imperial mausoleum 60 years after her death

She was a noble princess from the Mongolian Horqin Province, who was admitted to the palace before she was ten years old, but because she was young and could not be canonized, she did not expect to die suddenly. She was the niece of Empress Xiaozhuang, who was sent to the palace by her aunt to become the adopted daughter-in-law of her cousin Shunzhi, who originally had a bright future, but she died in Miaolingxiang, and after her death, she was posthumously crowned by the emperor, and was finally buried in the imperial mausoleum sixty years later...

In the early years of the Qing Dynasty, the Aixin Jueluo family and the Mongol tribes frequently married, the two empresses of Shunzhi were from the Horqin Department, in addition to these two empresses, there were also some Mongolian concubines in the Shunzhi harem, who represented the glory of Mongolia in the Qing Dynasty royal family and were an important link in maintaining the Manchu-Mongolian alliance. Although the Shunzhi Emperor was not interested in these Mongol women, as emperor he had to succumb to the political situation and accept the fate of fate.

In fact, in the Shunzhi harem, there was once a young woman, she was sent to the palace when she was a child, became the shunzhi emperor's concubine, because of her young age, has not yet been canonized, this phenomenon was called "staying in the palace", who is this woman? She is the mourning concubine.

Concubine Mo's surname was Borjigit, from the Mongolian Horqin Tribe, that is, the mother-in-law of Empress Xiaozhuang, and her father's father was named Manzhu Xili, the first Prince of Darhan, and was the brother of Empress Xiaozhuang, so Concubine Mo was actually a cousin of the Shunzhi Emperor, and was a cousin of Shunzhi's original match (deposed).

In August of the tenth year of Shunzhi, after two years of ideological struggle, the Shunzhi Emperor finally deposed empress Borjigit, and then, when selecting her successor, Empress Xiaozhuang once again set her sights on the Horqin department of her mother's family, and finally, two nieces and granddaughters of Empress Xiaozhuang (sisterly relations) were taken to the palace, and one of them was made empress, that is, the later Empress Xiaohuizhang.

At the same time, in order to consolidate the power of the women of the Horqin tribe in the harem of the Qing Dynasty, Empress Xiaozhuang also took her young niece Concubine Mourning into the palace, because the Mourning Concubine was not yet ten years old at that time, so she did not canonize it.

However, the Shunzhi Emperor was not interested in these Mongol women, and his mind focused on Dong Efei, which made Xiaozhuang helpless. At the end of the fourteenth year of Shunzhi, Concubine Dong gave birth to a small prince (the fourth son of the emperor) for the Shunzhi Emperor, which made Shunzhi Longyan very happy, and even called this prince the "first son of Shunzhi", which shows that in Shunzhi's heart, this son is the future lord of the Qing Dynasty.

Just after Princess Dong Efei gave birth to the fourth son of the emperor, Empress Xiaozhuang fell ill, and Emperor Shunzhi quickly arranged for her mother to go to Nanyuan for recuperation, and asked Concubine Dong to take care of her mother personally, and even Sonny, Aobai and other ministers of the court rushed to Nanyuan, and soon Empress Xiaozhuang recovered. However, shortly after Empress Xiaozhuang's recovery, the fourth son born to Concubine Dong died prematurely, which made the Shunzhi Emperor very sorry and posthumously honored him as the Prince of Heshuorong.

What people did not expect was that shortly after the death of the fourth son of the emperor, bad news came from the palace again, and it was really regrettable that the unsealed concubine Borjigit had actually died, and it was estimated that the age was about ten years old, which was the time of the wonderful age, but suddenly died in the harem of the Qing Dynasty, which was really regrettable!

Although Shunzhi was not interested in Mongolian women, Concubine Mo was his cousin after all, so Shunzhi posthumously honored her as a concubine:

"The daughter of Prince Horqin and Prince Shuodar Khan was elected to the palace, but she was not canonized because she was waiting for the year. Now that Er Er has passed away for a long time, he is deeply mourned in his heart, and it is advisable to posthumously be crowned as a concubine and his title and ceremony should be performed. Seek to honor the concubine. ”

After the death of Concubine Mo, she was buried at the foot of Huanghua Mountain in September of that year and named Princess Mo mausoleum. Later, Kangxi built the Empress Mausoleum on the east side of xiaoling for empress xiaohuizhang, that is, Xiaodongling. After the completion of the Xiaodong Mausoleum, Kangxi moved the Shunzhi concubines to the mausoleum, including mourning concubines, which was the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi, 60 years after the death of the mourning concubines.
