Shunzhi was the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty after entering the customs, about this emperor, we are familiar with the poignant love story between him and Concubine Dong, and even once became a monk, and even his death has become a mystery in the history of the Qing Palace. We may not know much about the children of the Shunzhi Emperor, how many children did he have, and why did he inherit the throne by the later Kangxi?

For Shunzhi crazy to give birth to three children, the surname is confusing, expert: the truth is out

1. Son of the Shunzhi Emperor

Shunzhi ascended the throne at the age of six, died at the age of twenty-four, and reigned for eighteen years, during which he successively took 37 concubines into the palace, including four empresses, seven concubines, nine concubines, and seventeen gege. These 37 women bore Shunzhi a total of eight sons and six daughters and 14 children.

The first is the Crown Prince.

The eldest son of the Shunzhi Emperor, Niu Niu, was born on the first day of November in the eighth year of Shunzhi, when Shunzhi was only 14 years old (13 years old), and her mother was Bi Shihe's Fu Jin, that is, Concubine Ba. The eldest son of the Emperor lived only 83 days before he died, an unblessed child.

The second son, Fuquan, was born on July 17, 1000 in Shunzhi, his mother was Concubine Dong E of Ning, and Fuquan's mother, Dong E, was of a higher birth and was therefore able to be listed as the Seventh Concubine, but the de facto eldest son of Shunzhi had a disability in his eyes, so he failed to inherit the throne and could only become a generation of virtuous kings.

The third son, Xuan Ye, was born on March 18, 111 of Shunzhi, to the mother of Empress Xiaokangzhang of the Tong clan. Xuan Ye's mother Tong was not from a good background, from the Han Military Banner, which made her position in the Shunzhi harem inferior to That of Xiao Fujin, equivalent to the later Standing Rank, slightly higher than Gege, and later Xuan Ye inherited the throne, and Tong's mother became the Empress Dowager of the Qing Dynasty with her son.

The fourth son, Prince Rong, was born on the seventh day of October in the fourteenth year of Shunzhi, and his mother was Shunzhi's favorite Empress Dowager Duanjing, that is, the famous Concubine Dong, who was called "the first son" by Shunzhi as soon as he was born, because of him, Shunzhi even pardoned the world, but unfortunately, this prince only lived for three months before dying.

The fifth son, Named Chang Ning, was born on the fourth day of november in the fourteenth year of Shunzhi, and his mother was Concubine Chen. Chang Ning's mother, Chen Shi, was only a very low-ranking concubine in the Shunzhi harem, and it was most likely a Gege or palace maid who was favored by Shunzhi and gave birth to a prince. It has to be said that Chen Shi is a lucky woman, although the prince changning she gave birth to did not inherit the throne, but lived for 47 years, becoming one of the few princes in Shunzhi who can live to middle age.

The sixth son, Qishou, was born on November 21, 16th year of Shunzhi, to the mother of Concubine Tang of the Tang clan. This little prince was not blessed, he only lived for seven years before he died, and he did not have a knighthood, after all, not everyone can be the fourth son of the emperor (the Prince of Rong).

The seventh son, Longxi, was born on April 22, 17th year of Shunzhi, to the mother of Concubine Niu. Longxi was the only Shunzhi prince besides the three brothers Fuquan, Xuanye, and Changning to live to adulthood, for which he was named the Pure Prince by his brother Kangxi, but the prince also lived only 20 years old, and it is said that before his death, Kangxi personally visited him and summoned an imperial doctor to treat him.

The eighth son, Yonggan, was born on December 23, 1717 in Shunzhi, and his mother was Saimu Ken'efu Jin, also known as Concubine Muktu. Yonggan was shunzhi's youngest son, and half a month after his birth, his father, the Shunzhi Emperor, died, and the young prince did not live to adulthood, and died in the sixth year of Kangxi, only eight years old.

It can be seen that among the eight sons of Shunzhi, four of them lived to adulthood, namely the second son Fuquan, the third son Xuan Ye, the fifth son Changning and the seventh son Longxi, and the seventh son Longxi only lived for 20 years, so Kangxi's brothers were actually only Fuquan and Changning.

From the point of view of birth, although Fuquan's mother, Concubine Ning, was not small, and this prince was also the actual eldest son of Shunzhi, he was unable to inherit the throne because of his eye disease and the fact that he had never had smallpox. For Chang Ning, when the Shunzhi Emperor died, he was only four years old, whether he could successfully survive is still unknown, coupled with the low status of his birth mother Chen, not as good as Kangxi's birth mother Tong, so he also lost the throne, so the final successor to the throne became the third brother Xuanye.

2. Daughter of the Shunzhi Emperor

In addition to these eight sons, Shunzhi also had six daughters. However, only one of these six daughters survived, she was the second daughter of the Emperor and Princess Shuo Gongwu, and her mother was Yang Lahai Niang Fujin, that is, Concubine Yang of the Yang clan.

Since the second daughter of the Emperor, Princess Heshuo Gongyi, was the only adult daughter of Shunzhi, she was also treated better and was deeply loved by Empress Xiaozhuang, but the princess was married to Aobai's nephew Nardu when she grew up. After Aobai was captured by Kangxi, Nardu was implicated and relegated to Shengjing, and although the princess later returned to Jingshi, she died at a young age, only living for 33 years.

Of course, in addition to Princess Heshuo Gong, Shunzhi also adopted three adopted daughters, namely Princess Heshuo Roujia, Princess Heshuo Andshun, and Princess Gulun Duanmin.

Princess Heshuo Roujia was the daughter of Yue Le, a cousin of the Shunzhi Emperor, prince of An, who was later married by Kangxi to Geng Juzhong, the younger brother of Geng Jingzhong, the King of Jingnan. Princess Heshuo heshun was the daughter of Shuo Sai the Prince of Chengze, the brother of the Shunzhi Emperor, and later married Shang Zhilong, the son of Shang Kexi the Prince of Pingnan. Princess Gulun Duanmin was the daughter of JiDu the Prince of Jian, a cousin of the Shunzhi Emperor, who later married the Bandi of the Borjigit clan of Horqin, and it is worth mentioning that Princess Duanmin's Gulun title was not given by Kangxi, but by Yongzheng.

3. Concubines of unknown origin

As you can see, most of the fourteen sons and daughters of the Shunzhi Emperor were born to concubines, only the second son of the Emperor Fuquan and the fourth son of the Emperor, Prince Rong, had a higher status, and none of the Mongol concubines in the Shunzhi harem had any children.

Among these fourteen children, the eldest son of the Emperor Niu Niu, the third daughter of the Emperor and the birth mother of the Fifth Daughter of the Emperor were all one person, and she was The PenShed Forehead Pinch Fujin, that is, Concubine Bashi.

In November of the eighth year of Shunzhi, Ba Shi gave birth to the eldest son of the Emperor, and in December of the tenth year of Shunzhi and December of the eleventh year of Shunzhi, he gave birth to the third daughter of the emperor and the fifth daughter of the emperor, which was the stage of the conflict between Shunzhi and the original empress and the abolition, that is, Ba Shi actually exploited the queen's loophole.

However, none of the three children born to The Papa clan survived, and it is not known whether it was a bad fate or the intention of the royal family.

In addition, another title of Pasteur has always puzzled experts, and Penshkh pinched Fujin. "Forehead pinch" in manchu is The meaning of Erniang, that is, mother, Fujin is a title for the Khan King and the wife of the prince in the Guanwai period, what does "Pen Shihe" mean, is it The name of Bashi, or the surname of Bashi, after research, the truth is finally revealed, the original Shih is the surname of Ba, that is, the original surname of Ba shi should be Pen Shi He.

Perhaps Ba's birth is too low, and there are few records about her in historical records, such as her birth and death year, family lineage information, there is no record, but the burial place after her death is clear, that is, Xiao Dongling.

Although Concubine Bashi was an unknown concubine in the Shunzhi harem, she was once deeply favored by Shunzhi, gave birth to three children for Shunzhi, and became the woman who gave birth to the most children for Shunzhi, and she should attract our attention because of this. Sometimes, we should pay attention not only to foods that have a glamorous appearance, but also to those who have made great contributions in obscurity.
