In the wave of continuous hot sales of new energy vehicles in 2021, hybrid models have played more and more roles. Recently, independent brands, including BYD, Geely, and Great Wall, have entered the hybrid field and launched their own hybrid models.
Recently, Xingtu released the "Star Core Power ET-i Full Engine Supermix" technology, officially entering the field of new energy hybrid. According to reports, the star core power ET-i full engine super hybrid architecture adopts the industry's first "3 engine 3 gear 9 mode 11 speed". Among them, "3 engines" refers to the intelligent combination of internal combustion engine and dual drive motor under the power architecture. "3 gears" refers to the power architecture with the most 3 physical gears in the existing hybrid technology, and the more gears also determine that the system can cope with more working conditions, higher efficiency, and better balance power and fuel consumption.
"9 mode" is the abbreviation of the 9 working modes unique to the star core power ET-i full-engine supermix system. Including single motor pure electric, dual motor pure electric, engine direct drive, parallel drive, parking charging, driving charging and other 9 driving modes. They can be freely switched according to different driving scenarios under the control of the intelligent system, and match different road conditions in a more suitable and efficient mode.
"11 speed" refers to 11 gear combinations that can cover all car use scenarios, covering driving scenarios that users may encounter, including "urban commuting, long-distance travel, and extreme road conditions", but also achieving a balance between power and energy consumption.
"Because hybrid projects often have a long research and development cycle, the layout of the whole vehicle is difficult, and it is very difficult for enterprises to invest in research and development and promotion independently, so the state has taken the hybrid system as a key research topic in the scientific and technological innovation research and development plans over the years." Dr. Wang Zhifu, secretary of the National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicles, told reporters that the Star Core Power ET-i full-engine supermix system is a power architecture composed of intelligent control systems and high-performance battery packs, and its performance has achieved the leap of China's hybrid technology from the 1.0 stage to the 2.0 stage.
In his view, Chery Group has a strong advantage in power system research and development, and the technical solution for the "Star Core Power ET-i Full Engine Super Hybrid" project is very well demonstrated, thus standing out from many enterprises.
It is understood that during the entire technical attack period, the engineers of Xingtu Automobile have overcome many problems such as complex system structure, engine control, transmission control, drive motor control and vehicle control deep coupling, and created a new path of Chinese hybrid power with complete intellectual property rights.
The relevant person in charge of the Xingtu brand revealed that on the first model of the "Star Core Power ET-i Full Engine Super Hybrid" technology that will soon open for sale, the Xingtu Wind Chasing ET-i, the standard version can reach a pure electric mileage of 105KM, and the comprehensive driving mileage exceeds 1000KM, "bringing users a daily commute without oil, high-speed and long-distance car experience without trouble."
"Technology serves people, and the progress of technology is to make everyone's life more convenient, more comfortable and more relaxed." Some analysts believe that from the beginning of the development of hybrid technology, energy saving is its core purpose. "Previously, independent brands were at the forefront of the field of pure electric vehicles, and now, with the promotion and application of hybrid technology, the collective entry of independent brands into the hybrid field will lay the foundation for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality of transportation travel."
