Because of this, future generations have also placed the tomb of this emperor for thousands of years in a very high position. The Terracotta Warriors, one of the Eight Wonders of the World, were found in the tomb of the First Emperor. However, there are still many secrets waiting to be explored, and the Shi Huang Mausoleum has not been fully excavated until now, although partly for protective reasons, but more for technical reasons.
There is such a grand mausoleum, and while people pay attention to this mausoleum, they are naturally also full of attention to the ancestral mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang. However, "the clouds and shadows of the idle pond are leisurely, and the stars are changed a few degrees in autumn." "No matter how much curiosity there is, all the things that have been done throughout the ages have been thrown into the loess one by one." In the history of land filling, it was difficult to find a tomb. So although the archaeological team had planned to devote more than a decade to the search, it found nothing.
Second, the unintentional and surprising discovery
"There are hearts that plant flowers and flowers that do not bloom, and willows that are planted without hearts." On this day in 1986, a villager in Lintong, Shaanxi Province, told the relevant authorities about what he saw in the village. This was the beginning of qin dongling's discovery. Thus a pre-Qin mausoleum was displayed in front of the eyes of the world. And the good news continued, followed by the discovery of Qin Dongling, a number of noble cemeteries of the Qin state in the pre-Qin period were also discovered. For a time, the historical and cultural accumulation and splendor carried by these pre-Qin tombs bloomed together.
However, it is very surprising. Among them, the earliest archaeological expedition found that it was actually a tomb destroyed by stolen tomb thieves. The tombs in this Fengxia County not only contain hundreds of female corpses, but also a large number of high-value historical relics after the tomb robbers ransacked. Needless to say, this is a very large tomb. Unfortunately, due to the violent destruction of the tomb, although archaeologists tried their best to rescue it, many things still did not have the opportunity to show its most beautiful style to the world, and disappeared.
It is already shocking that this tomb in Fengxia County has such a large number of living people to accompany the burial. However, there is another tomb with more burials than in the Fengxia County Mausoleum, that is, Qin Mugong, one of the Five Lords of spring and autumn, and the good allusion of the idiom Qin Jin is related to this Qin Mugong. If it were not for the 186 corpses in front of them, many people may not have thought that the records in the "History" were actually true, and the number of burials in Qinmu Cemetery also hit a record high.
There is a problem, I believe many people are confused, since the tomb after the tomb robbery can also have a part of the cultural relics left, that means that the original tomb in the high value of the cultural relics must be more, so those who have been looted next to the tomb survived the mausoleum is not more rare treasures. This brings us to the scope and tasks of the archaeological team. The biggest difference between the tomb robbers and the archaeological team is the different purpose. Tomb robbers are often bent on wealth, while archaeologists are mainly research-oriented. This determines that the archaeological team cares about the discovery of the tomb, not whether it is excavated or not. More often than not, archaeologists are restoring and protecting artifacts. Most of the cultural relics that need to be repaired and protected are things that are damaged by tomb robbers.
Third, the importance of "masters" in the human world and loving the nation
However, even if the archaeological team found the tomb first, it was still impossible to prevent it, and it was tragically killed by tomb robbers. Under the close protection of archaeologists, there are still burglar holes that have been broken in. In 2011, there was a 20-meter robbery hole that was about to be opened under the eyes of archaeologists. The hole was accidentally discovered and was completely undetected before. Although the tomb robbery was stopped in time, many archaeologists and patriots had a heavy heart.
This robbery hole is enough to attract the attention of the academic community, and the relevant state agencies have also entered the investigation. Through the in-depth investigation of the police step by step, this tomb robbery gang finally appeared in people's field of vision. It is worth noting that this three-person gang, one of which is a tomb robber. He is experienced and has complete skills and knowledge of tomb robbery. No sophisticated instrumentation is required, and a pair of naked eyes can see through the treasure buried deep underneath. This is an ability that many archaeologists have never been able to do. It is also the ability to make people afraid. For many tomb and archaeologists, it is so frightening that tomb robbers have these skills.
And this failure is not because the archaeologists are well prepared, but in the process of committing the crime, one of the three people cannot adapt to the environment in the tomb and directly faints. Thus the action of the three men stopped, and the digging of the robbery hole was stopped.
It's not a happy thing to be happy about. On the contrary, archaeological institutions have become more vigilant, begun targeted protection work, and constantly improved themselves. It's a game with grave robbers.
We hope that the heritage of our 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization can be left to this Chinese land intact, which is the consciousness that everyone should have.
