One of my favorite quotes in Inspiration is "Fashion can't change the world, fashion is the echo of the world", so it is a precise summary to take it out and put it on the back cover alone. For me, every book I make is like creating a world, not only for the author, designers, and my little world, but also for our perception of the big world. The Inspiration took half a year to sort out Chinese and foreign literary examples, verify, write notes, smooth and polish sentences, and verify whether each overseas interviewee had inappropriate remarks, and these basic work alone took nearly two months.
In the process of writing the book, the designer and I supported each other through a very difficult road, from editing and reviewing to special typesetting of the inner text, entering, retiring, and even designing, adjusting, and following the color, all of which we completed together. Fortunately, it was he who accompanied me through this bitter battle. During the period, I would like to thank Mr. Zheng and Mr. Shen for their recognition and support, and are still willing to give us permission and trust under the cramped schedule, so that we can think of this book into an ideal.
I remember when choosing a cover hot film, I struggled for a long time between the two choices after layers of screening, worried that one of them was too exaggerated, and worried that the visual effect of the other was not amazing enough. Finally, let's say, choose the one with the laser pattern, and fight it. Fortunately, the finished product did not let us lose. Take a scene picture, because the paper and the process reflective, -11 (Fu Poetic) shot three times. The film was sent to me, and I said, "It's a good shot!" The body is matte and has a velvet texture; the gilding is brilliant, and the specially customized sequin blue gold shines; the gilded silver details of the inner seal flash a low-key luster; the design and details of the inner text are revealed. At the beginning of 2022, "Inspiration" came out, hoping that it could reach a wider crowd and find people who liked it.
