Lecture 5 The Way of Sincerity

Today we talk about the second part of the educational content. Read two sentences first:

Emerson said: The habit of civilized behavior is equivalent to opening the door to all wealth for us, all of which can be easily obtained without any effort, and it will even take the initiative to find the door.

The gift of youth, life is more helpful.

From these two sentences, it can be seen that there are many people who know respect and will help you in life.

What is sincerity? Know how to get along with others? Know how to help others? Know how to be kind and respectful to others.

Etiquette looks very simple, he can create many opportunities for himself, and it contains a person's cultivation and wisdom behind it.

What must be cultivated over many years is a person's quality for many years. It is naturally formed and cannot be learned and used now.

A person who can respect others is a very virtuous person. The so-called "respectable, the gathering of virtue, can respect the heart and morality." Respect for others is a manifestation of his inner virtues, a thick accumulation of hair.

There are two sentences in the disciple rules: Smell the honor and fear, smell the joy; To be kind, infinitely good. These two sentences also say that only when the heart must be sincere and the courtesy must be respectful can it be possible to be kind. Small talents depend on talent, and great wisdom must rely on teachers.

Since etiquette is so important, how can parents teach their children to know etiquette? How to teach?

First, parents should do a good job of teaching, they must be aware of etiquette, sincere respect for others, and first set a good example.

Second, take the child to do it together, let the child be his own little assistant, teach him some details, and slowly become a habit.

Third, after the child does it, he should encourage the child in time and be kind.

If you want to teach your child to be polite, the two main conditions are: first, the parents know the etiquette; second, the parents must be able to teach. What is generally taught? What everyone is more familiar with is that the first, second, and third chapters of the Disciple Rules have a lot of content about the ceremony, especially the second one.
