After the establishment of the Republic of China in 1912, the first bourgeois government appeared in Chinese history, and it was thought that the fate of the Chinese nation would be renewed from then on, but the fruits of the revolution were stolen by Yuan Shikai and the Beiyang government was established.
Not only was he not spared from bullying, but internal military disasters continued, the people suffered unspeakably, and Yuan Shikai, as the chief culprit, was naturally nailed to the column of shame in history.
Yuan Kewen, as the second son of Yuan Shikai, is known as one of the four princes of the Republic of China, but he is not accustomed to his father's misdeeds and is mixed between the rivers and lakes. Subsequently, he opened a fragrant hall in the Tianjin area to collect disciples, known as the leader of the Qing gang in the Republic of China.
At the time of his death, he had only 20 pieces of inheritance left, and the funerals were all raised by his disciples and grandchildren, but unexpectedly, his funeral was more than his father's.

Young to fame
Yuan Kewen was born in Seoul, Korea in 1890, when Yuan Shikai was under orders from the Qing government to lead troops to garrison Korea and be responsible for curbing Japanese and Russian forces.
Yuan Shikai received unanimous praise from all over the DPRK during his stay in Korea, praising him as: Mingda Su Cheng, staying in the Han Dynasty for many years, most of them won the hearts of the people.
At that time, Korea was a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty, and as a general from the suzerainty, he had a heavy army, which was really a worthy object of friendship. Therefore, the Korean state, from the royal family to the local officials, rushed to get acquainted with him, and even offered his beloved daughter, including Yuan Kewen's mother.
There are few records of her in the historical records, Yuan Kewen said that her mother was a Three Han Wang, and some ye shi said that she was a Korean princess. However, no matter how honorable the woman's status and appearance were, she became a political victim and married Yuan Shikai as a concubine.
The two soon gave birth to a son after they got married, but Yuan Shikai still disliked his Korean status, turned a deaf ear to him, and even passed on Yuan Kewen, who was still in his infancy, to his spoiled aunt Tai Shen.
Shen Shi followed Yuan Shikai for many years and has been childless under her knees, and Yuan Kewen's arrival awakened her motherhood. For this child, she gave herself all the love, almost to the point of obedience.
The spoiled Yuan Kewen was stubborn and debauched, after all, his status in North Korea even surpassed that of the Korean prince.
Although Yuan Kewen had never read a book seriously, he had cultivated a skill that he would never forget. It is said that he was able to read at the age of six, read the scriptures at the age of seven, and even chanted poems at the age of fifteen, and was highly accomplished in calligraphy, and was known as a child prodigy.
Once Yuan Shikai took him to the palace, Cixi saw that his arrogance was extraordinary, and immediately wanted to marry his niece to him. Where Yuan Shikai wanted his son to fall into the tiger's den, he prevaricated on the grounds that he had a marriage match earlier, and Cixi said pity even more vigorously after hearing it.
Join the Green Gang
In 1915, Yuan Shikai's perverse behavior set off the reverse current of Zunkong retro, announcing the restoration of the imperial system and the establishment of the Chinese Empire. Behind this incident, it is Yuan Keding, the eldest son of Yuan Shikai, who is fueling the waves.
Yuan Keding is extremely obsessed with power, and he knows that his current status depends entirely on his father, and once his father dies, he will be expelled from the center of power. The only way to preserve it is to put his father on the throne, and when a hundred years later, as the eldest son of the concubine, he can naturally inherit the ceremony.
To this end, he did not hesitate to forge the "Shuntian Times" to make Yuan Shikai mistakenly believe that the people and the Western powers supported the restoration, which led to the farce of being called emperor.
Yuan Kewen had long known about this fake newspaper, but he was reluctant to tell his father because he resented his father's unfair treatment of his mother, and he did not even attend on the day of his claim to the throne.
After Yuan Keding found out that he was not there, he immediately sent someone to look for him, and as a result, he found someone in the theater garden. After knowing his intentions, Yuan Kewen replied without raising his head: "You go back and tell my father, let him quickly cancel this enthronement ceremony." I don't know which evil he has fallen into, and he dares to risk the world to do such a thing. ”
Later, he personally signed a letter of protest against Yuan Shikai's restoration. The son's opposition to Lao Tzu is absolutely ridiculous, and Yuan Shikai is extremely angry but helpless, after all, he is his own flesh and bones.
But this touched the interests of Yuan Keding, who was determined to educate his brother, who did not know the height of the sky. Yuan Kewen, who got the wind, immediately fled to Shanghai, and in order to avoid arrest, he also found Jin Rong and Du Yuesheng and joined the Qing Gang to seek refuge.
Huang Du and the two naturally did not dare to offend the second prince, and they entertained him with good food and drink, and even gave him money for gambling. In order to further save his own life, Yuan Kewen became an executive of the Beijing-Tianjin branch of the Qingbang and began to recruit disciples and grandchildren.
A good ending
The farce of restoring the imperial system lasted only 83 days before it failed, and Yuan Shikai abdicated in a cry of scolding, after which he collapsed. On June 6, 1916, he died of uremia and was buried in Anyang, Henan.
At the time of his final death, Yuan Shikai could not let go of this second son who was still his own, and even entrusted Xu Shichang before his death. So much so that when Yuan Kewen returned to Beijing after the funeral, President Xu Da actually broke his leg with a crutch and scolded him for being an unfilial son who did not learn and did not learn any skills.
The death of his father also completely bankrupted Yuan Keding's dream of becoming emperor, and after calming down, his relationship with his younger brother Yuan Kewen was also eased, and several brothers went their separate ways after dividing up Yuan Shikai's belongings.
Yuan Kewen received a total of 100,000 oceans plus several real estates, accustomed to squandering, he took this money to mix in major casinos, in and out of the land of fireworks and willow lanes, bought a large number of cultural relics and antiques, and finally sat on the mountain and ate the sky.
But after all, he had the status of the son of Emperor Yuan, and when he was in difficulty, Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Zongchang handed olive branches and invited him to take up his post. Yuan Kewen refused all such invitations, saying that he would never get involved in politics.
Fortunately, in his early years of debauchery, he still had a means of making a living, that is, selling words. He can write without even using a desk, just two people holding the ends of the paper and hanging it up, and he can write directly. Yuan Kewen's calligraphy and pen are powerful and self-contained, and private collectors rush to buy it, and even newspapers ask him to write mastheads.
In 1922, the Chaoshan region was hit by strong winds, killing hundreds of thousands of people. After hearing this news, Yuan Kewen poured out his family wealth to the disaster area, and even sold his beloved posters. One of them is the "Orchid Pavilion Collection Preface", and he did not sell this poster during the most difficult period, which is enough to see the degree of cherishing for it.
In 1931, Yuan Kewen suddenly contracted scarlet fever, a high fever that did not go away, and finally died in Tianjin. Due to his profligacy and disaster relief, his entire fortune after his death was only 20 yuan in the pen holder.
Fortunately, he made friends all over the world, as well as many disciples of the Qing Gang, and under the supervision of these people, government officials and gang leaders attended Yuan Kewen's funeral, and the funeral procession for him was longer than Yuan Shikai.
Looking at Yuan Kewen's life, people can't help but sigh: Yuan Gongzi is really a man in temperament, and he does not waste the world!
