1. Project Overview

The site of the "three steps and two bridges" in Shouzhou is located on the west side of Bao'en Temple in the ancient city area of Shouzhou. In September 2021, the county key project construction management center was found in the implementation of the renovation project of Beiliangjiakou Lane. In the same month, the county cultural relics protection center entrusted the provincial cultural relics and archaeology research institute to send professionals to the scene to carry out archaeological excavations of the "three steps and two bridges" site, believing that the "three steps and two bridges" are cultural relics with certain historical and cultural value in the ancient city area of Shouzhou, which has a unique shape and drainage function, which helps people to recall nostalgia and history.

Second, the status of programming

In December 2021, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics, the County Cultural Relics Protection Center entrusted Anhui Wanwenyi Monument Protection Center Co., Ltd. to compile and complete the "Design Plan for the Maintenance and Maintenance Project of the Three-Step and Two-Bridge Ruins in Shou County, Anhui Province" after on-site investigation and visit to the masses, with an estimated project budget of 280,000 yuan. It has now passed the expert review. After archaeological exploration, the site of "three steps and two bridges" covers a total area of about 46 square meters, the two bridges are opposite from east to west, the direction of the original water channel is north and south, the bridge body is spanned from east to west, and the stones are piled up, and only the canal and piers remain.

III. Content of Solicitation of Comments

According to the work arrangements of the county party committee and the county government, the maintenance and maintenance project of the "three steps and two bridges" site will be implemented in the near future. In order to ensure that the relics of the restored "three steps and two bridges" can restore the history and nostalgic memory to the greatest extent, the design drawings are now open to all sectors of society for comments and suggestions.
