【December 2021 Car Sales Ranking Top 10 High-end Luxury Cars by Sales】According to the data released by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the retail sales of the car market reached 1.049 million units in December 2021, a slight decrease of 1.7% compared with the same period last year, and an increase of 17.6% from November. Compared with November, sales of "head" luxury cars declined in December, with only two models selling more than 10,000 vehicles. Mercedes-Benz E-Class sales were stable, regaining the first luxury car sales with sales of 13,904 units, up slightly from 13,556 units last month and up 20.7% year-on-year.
The Audi A6L ranked second, with sales of 10,123 units in December, down 44.1 percent year-on-year and slightly down from 11,814 units in November.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 5 Series and BMW 3 Series all sold more than 9,000 units, and the sales of the three models were not much different, and all were lower than the same period last year. Among them, Mercedes-Benz C-class sales of 9530 units, BMW 5 Series sales of 9341 units, BMW 3 Series sales of 9083 units.
Audi A4L sales increased from the previous month, with sales of 8,184 units in December, narrowing the sales gap with rival BMW 3 Series, but still down 46.8% year-on-year, the largest decline in the top ten luxury car sales.
Hongqi H9 sales were stable, with sales of 3891 units in December, continuing to lead the Volvo S90, an increase of 20.2% year-on-year. The Volvo S90 followed, ranking eighth with sales of 2,881 units, maintaining last month's sales level.
The Faw-Hongqi E-QM5 and Cadillac CT6 continue to make the list, with December sales of 1,913 and 1,599 units, respectively. (Source/Multiplying Association)
