Xi Chao was critically ill, and knowing that he would soon die, he took out a book box and handed it to his protégé: "If my father is too sad, I will give him the book box." ”
After Xi Chao's death, Xi Huan was indeed sad and sick, and the protégé handed the book box to Xi Huan, who opened it and found that it was actually a letter from Xi Chao and Huan Wen plotting for imperial power.
Xi Was so angry that he jumped to his feet and scolded, and he no longer missed Xi Chao, and the disease was suddenly cured.
Xi Chao saved his father's serious illness at the least cost.
This is what the higher goodness is — it is not a self-harm, but an ability. It is not only the ability to understand the pain of others as pain, but also the ability not to be infected by low-IQ kindness, not only the ability to put oneself in the shoes of empathy, but also the ability to deeply understand the evil of human nature, not only the ability not to base happiness on the pain of others, but also the ability to save others from fire and water without drowning themselves.

Confucius said, "Wrong. Zigong's practice would lead to more slaves who could not be redeemed. In the future, when others see the Lu people as slaves, they will think, 'After I redeem the money, if I go to repay the account, my character will not be as good as that of the son.' Don't report it, and can't afford it. So he had to pretend to be deaf and dumb and not to redeem people. Zigong's practice of not repaying the account is actually preventing more slaves from being redeemed, which is harmful. ”

Not only from their own point of view, but also from the perspective of others, and even consider whether there will be a chain reaction of mistakes after doing things. Then it is possible to do a thing to the best of one's ability, or to spread true knowledge to others.
