According to the data, after joining the Zhonghuan Group in 2020, TCL (Group) has formed three core industries of intelligent terminals, semiconductor displays, semiconductor photovoltaics and semiconductor materials.
It is understood that at present, TCL owns a number of listed companies such as TCL Technology, TCL Electronics, and Zhonghuan Shares.
Among them, TCL Technology is the largest revenue support in TCL (Group). According to the disclosed news, in the first three quarters of 2021, TCL Technology achieved operating income of 120.929 billion yuan, an increase of 148.26% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 9.102 billion yuan, an increase of 349.44% year-on-year.
It is reported that the main business structure of TCL Technology is semiconductor display business, semiconductor photovoltaic and semiconductor materials business, industrial finance and investment platform and other businesses.
Among them, the semiconductor display business is the largest source of income for TCL Technology. According to the news disclosed in the 2021 semi-annual report of TCL Technology, in the first half of 2021, the revenue of TCL Technology was about 74.30 billion yuan, an increase of 153.3% year-on-year; the net profit was 9.25 billion yuan, an increase of 7.65 times year-on-year. Among them, the semiconductor display business achieved operating income of 40.8 billion yuan, an increase of 93.6% year-on-year in the same caliber, and a net profit of 6.61 billion yuan.
According to the data, as of the first half of 2021, in the large-size business, TCL Technology ranks second in the world in the TV panel market share, the 55-inch product share is the first in the world, the 65-inch and 75-inch product share is the second in the world, the 32-inch product share is the third in the world, and the market share of 8K and 120HZ high-end TV panels ranks first in the world; while in the small-size business, TCL Technology LTPS mobile phone panel shipments maintain the top four in the world; in the medium-size business, TCL Technology's LTPS laptop panel shipments are the second in the world, and LTPS flat panel shipments have increased to the world's first.
