He has been in business for 40 years, leading TCL through the cycle, growing from a small local factory to a smart high-tech industry group with global influence, covering three core industries of intelligent terminals, semiconductor displays, semiconductor photovoltaics and semiconductor materials. For TCL, the most critical step in transforming from an electronic consumer manufacturing enterprise to a high-tech enterprise is to establish TCL Huaxing and enter the semiconductor display industry.

In 2009, TCL went to MWS Optoelectronics to explore its business capabilities into the semiconductor display industry, and has so far laid out 9 panel production lines and 5 module factories, with an investment amount of more than 260 billion yuan.

The success of TCL Huaxing has enabled TCL to master the core components and establish a vertically integrated industrial chain; at the same time, the introduction of Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing has greatly improved industrial capabilities; and it has caught up with and surpassed in the field of technology, leading the innovation wave of future display technology; and improved the integrated layout of production, education and research through the construction of industrial ecology.

In 2020, TCL acquired Tianjin Zhonghuan Group to enter the semiconductor photovoltaic and semiconductor materials industry, opening up the second growth curve.
