Xiaolingwei is located outside the Zhongshan Gate in Nanjing, named after the mausoleum of Zhu Yuanzhang stationed during the Ming Dynasty; and at the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty set up two troops under the direct command of the emperor to suppress the Xianfeng Emperor of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, one of which was the Jiangnan camp stationed at Xiaolingwei; during the Republic of China, the Kuomintang "Yulin Army" camped here.
