In several stories, every young man dedicates his youth to that extraordinary time in the best years.
What impressed me the most in this movie was the role of Shen Guangyao played by Wang Lihong, especially when Shen Guangyao finally drove a fighter plane and died with the Japanese warship, and said the two words of home to his comrades around him, which made people tearful.
Shen Guangyao in the film comes from a famous family and his father is a high-ranking official. At a young age, he was admitted to the Southwest United University. Southwest United University is a temporary joint university established in Changsha on November 1, 1937 by Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University. Later, in 1938, because of the war, it was moved to Kunming, Yunnan, so it was called Southwest United University and Southwest United University.
Southwest United University, in less than 8 years, nearly 4,000 graduates, the birth of 2 Nobel laureates, more than 170 academicians of the two academies and more than 100 professional scholars, these achievements and Southwest United University's strong and strong school motto is inseparable.
At that time, China was being ravaged by the Japanese. There is no place in the vast country where you can study with peace of mind. After the war, Shen Guangyao, like other classmates, studied hard in the humble classroom of Southwest United University and inherited Chinese culture.
At this time, Shen Guangyao loved to learn and was good at sports. Although he was born into a famous family, he did not have a shelf and was eager to help others. In a pilot recruitment, Shen Guangyao was encouraged and decided to use a brave heart to face the difficulties and dedicate himself.
It was when he first decided to join the army that he was stopped by his mother. His mother asked him to recite the family training, wanting him to study well and dispel the idea of joining the army:
Although the ancestors are far away, sacrifices must not be insincere. Although the children and grandchildren are foolish, they must not fail to read the scriptures. Negative armor is a soldier, a pen is an official, a person who dies is like a cow's hair, and a horned person is like a sesame grass. Therefore, it is forbidden to think that the poor and poor who have learned are richer than those who have no learning. ”
His mother told herself that he and his father did not want him to join the army, not because he was an only child. And because of the so-called meritorious achievements, the history of fame is just a passing cloud, and these things are nothing, which his ancestors did not do. And admonished him:
At the beginning, he left home for thousands of miles and came to such a place to study. None of them objected. Because they want Shen Guangyao to be able to enjoy the joy of life. For example, read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles. For example, marrying a girl you like and having children. Not for parents, but for yourself to experience the joy of life. Now I want to become a soldier, but I am afraid that if I have not thought it through, my life will be gone.
In this way, his idea of joining the army for the first time was dispelled by his mother.
Until he saw the ruins after being bombed by the Japanese army and saw the children who were killed by the bombing, he decided to hide from his mother and join the air force and become a pilot. And joining the army is not for fame and fortune, but for the sake of one's own inner justice and compassion.
At that time, as a pilot, Shen Guangyao was almost determined to die.
After becoming a pilot, Shen Guangyao often delivered food to some orphans, and was reprimanded by the instructor. Shen Guangyao looked at the instructor and said, "There is no shortage of perfect people in this world, what is missing is the sincerity, fearlessness, justice and sympathy given from the bottom of the heart."
Finally, the wounded Shen Guangyao piloted the fighter and rushed towards the Japanese warship without hesitation.
And such a brave and fearless hot-blooded young man has a prototype in reality. His prototype is Shen Chongzhi, a student of civil engineering at Tsinghua University.
Shen Chongzhi was born in a famous family, the family has been an official for generations, and his grandfather Shen Weilan was once an aide to Zhang Zhidong. Shen Chongjie's father, Shen Jiayi, was a 17-year-old zhongju student at Beijing Normal University, the predecessor of Peking University. After that, he went to Japan to study, and after graduating and returning to China, he successively served as the director of the Court of Fengtian Province and the president of the Beijing High Court. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as a judge of the Judicial Yuan.
Shen Chongzhi was born in Wuhan on June 25, 1911, the second son in the family. From an early age, he was very smart, especially good at sports. In 1921, he was admitted to Beijing Chengda Higher Primary School, and in 1923, he was admitted to Nankai Middle School. In 1928, at the age of 17, Shen Chongzhi was admitted to Tsinghua University and became a student in the department of civil engineering.
At Tsinghua, he not only excelled in his studies, but also was passionate about various sports activities. He is the leader of Tsinghua University's football team and baseball team. He has participated in the National Games and won the football championship in North China. And his spirit of refusing to accept defeat and having the courage to sacrifice was unanimously recognized by his classmates.
In addition to these, Shen Chongzhi showed strong patriotic enthusiasm.
After the "918" incident in 1931, Shen Chongzhi led the students of various universities to organize volunteers. After graduating from Tsinghua University in 1932, Shen Chongzhi gave up his generous job, braved the snow overnight to apply for the Hangzhou Aviation School, was admitted to the Bombing Department, and stayed on as an instructor after graduation.
At the time of the Battle of Songhu, Shen Chongzhi was ordered to follow the Second Brigade to bomb the Japanese Third Fleet to fight the Japanese army. On August 19, 1937, Shen Chongzhi went to war again, but Shen Chongjie's fighter plane malfunctioned and could not continue driving. Seeing that the Japanese warships were attacking the army, Shen Chongzhi, full of anger, rushed to the Japanese warship "Izumo", and finally died with the enemy.
Along with him, he was also a comrade-in-arms Chen Xichun. At the last moment, the two chanted the motto of the Central Aviation School: "Our bodies, planes and bombs should be destroyed together with the enemy's warship positions."
In the end, the two men died heroically. Shen Chongjie's sacrifice was a great blow to his father, Shen Jiayi. After the founding of New China, his father remained in Beijing and guarded Shen Chongjie's tombstone until his death.
Among the more than 1,700 pilots in China's War of Resistance Against Japan, they were also Lin Huiyin's younger brother Lin Heng and Zhang Xihu, the son of Zhang Boling, the president of Nankai University. In addition, there are Chen Huaimin, Lü Jichun, Zhang Dafei, Liu Pugang, Le Yiqin, and a large number of other family members.
Zhang Boling, president of Nankai University, is also a white-haired person sending a black-haired person. But his son has always been his pride, and he will always be proud of him. After Zhang Xihu's death, he said that his son sacrificed his life for the country and died for what he deserved.
The average age of these people is only 23 years old, and in the times of the crisis of the motherland, these people are not content to enjoy, but have the courage to sacrifice themselves. Have the courage to defend the sky of the motherland.
Shen Chongzhi was only 26 years old when he died, and after his death, Tsinghua University evaluated him as: "Shen Chongjie is the pride of Tsinghua, and he will always inspire Tsinghua's descendants." ”
Shen Chongjie's self-encouragement letter reads: "May our classmates always inherit their heroic aspirations, advise each other, move forward together, and serve the "dead" country." If they have the rest of their lives, with flowers and fruit wine, before the spirits of their old friends, then, although they sacrifice today, they can not spare any hatred in the future. I hope we can encourage it together. ”
And Shen Chongzhi is only a microcosm of the young people of that era, fortunately we were born in a peaceful era, but we must never forget their spirit.
