They even dared to shoot and kill a senior Chinese official, a senior official who was killed by the Soviet Red Army in the northeast region. One night in 1945, a gunshot was suddenly heard, and the man on duty came to find a corpse lying on the ground, and the murderer had long since disappeared.
At first, the corpse was not wearing military uniforms but civilian clothes, so people could only think that this was a murder and did not pay attention to it. At that time, the situation was turbulent, and such situations occurred from time to time. However, when people investigated the specific identity of this person, they were surprised, because this person was Comrade Lu Dongsheng, who had just come to the northeast region for a military conference.
His purpose this time was to take Comrade Chen Yun's luggage, but in the middle of the road, he encountered two outlaws, robbed him of weapons and property, and killed him on the spot. After the incident, the Chinese side attached great importance to this matter and demanded a reasonable explanation from the Soviet authorities. Stalin was also very panicked when he heard about this incident, because at that time the relations between China and the Soviet Union were in the stage of friendship, and if this matter could not end with a satisfactory ending for China, perhaps a great contradiction would break out between the two countries.
Therefore, Stalin personally went out to China to assure him that this matter would be thoroughly investigated and that the two murderers of Comrade Lu Dongsheng would be brought to justice. Soon after, Stalin summoned the relevant agencies within the Soviet Union to immediately search for the two murderers of Lu Dongsheng, and soon after found the two Soviet Red Army.
After interrogating them, they learned that after they saw Lu Dongsheng and a guard arrive that night, they wanted to snatch their money away, but Lu Dongsheng revealed his officer card, and the two Soviet soldiers who knew that they were in trouble shot and killed Lu Dongsheng in a hurry. Stalin also arrested the two murderers as agreed and executed them.
He also personally came forward to give Lu Dongsheng's family a condolence payment, and publicly expressed his condolences for Lu Dongsheng's murder, and the matter was over.
