Whenever others asked, "Does Commander Xu really know eighteen martial arts?" He would laugh and say, "I'll be nineteen!" After saying that, he picked up a chair and practiced a few hands and said, "You can use whatever you have in your hand, this is the nineteenth!" ”
"I came to fight, Taiping I will not come, I will not be too peaceful when I come"
It is precisely because of these eight years of martial arts practice that Xu Shiyou has had the ambition of "eliminating unfair things in the world and eliminating violence and peace" since he was a child. On the battlefield, he was reckless and direct, brave and fierce.
As a result, in the eyes of many people, Xu Shiyou is a reckless hero, fighting to the death, and there is no tactics to speak of.
If it is said that just by relying on a large knife and a brute force that is not afraid of death, it is possible to kill a soldier to the commander of the grand military region and even become the leader of the national army, which inevitably underestimates the development of the Chinese revolution and the strength of the armed struggle, and also underestimates Commander Xu.
Although a hundred battles and a hundred victories are not counted, the general who always wins is well-deserved. He commanded countless battles and suffered almost no major losses. People who know him well know that Commander Xu is not a Shaolin-born jianghu hero for Skywalker, but a very outstanding military commander of our army.
In the 1941 Jiaodong anti-surrender campaign, Xu Shiyou said at a meeting held by the Jiaodong District Party Committee: "I came here to fight, because it is not peaceful here, Taiping I will not come, I will not come to Taiping, I will not be too peaceful when I come." In this way, the Jiaodong troops took the northeast gateway Yushan in one fell swoop. Xu Shiyou saw the opportunity and ordered a full-scale attack. After nine days of bloody fighting, the Yushan position remained unmoved.

Bluntly asked for the title of grand general
In the 20-year-long revolutionary struggle, Xu Shiyou marched south to fight in the north, was born into death, and made great military achievements. He was awarded the rank of General in 1955.
