Recently, created by Liu Bingwen, Jiang Zhoude and Shu Shiming, members of the Zigong Miniature Novel Society, edited by the Research Center for Party History and Military History of the People's Liberation Army of the Academy of Military Sciences, and published by the Learning Publishing House, the series of books "Lu Deming" of the Chinese Character Story Collection won the Book Award of the Fifth China Publishing Government Award.
Lu Deming, a series of books on Chinese character stories, is organized and planned by the Central Propaganda Department, guided by the Research Center for Party History and Military History of the People's Liberation Army of the Academy of Military Sciences, led by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Ziliujing District Committee, and organized and implemented by the Zigong Mini Fiction Society.
Liu Bingwen, Jiang Zhoude, and Shu Shiming, members of the Zigong Miniature Novel Society, spent more than a year interviewing and collecting graphic and textual materials, immersed themselves in creation, and changed their drafts five times, which were carefully revised and improved by Chen Qiubo, researcher and deputy director of the Research Office of the People's Liberation Army Party History and Military History Research Center of the Academy of Military Sciences, and published and distributed nationwide by the Learning Publishing House in May 2019, and republished in December 2020.
Along with Lu Deming, there are also 5 books published together with "Yang Jingyu", "Zhang Side", "Dong Cunrui", "Huang Jiguang", "Qiu Shaoyun" and so on.
The book "Lu Deming" truly records Lu Deming's feelings and experiences of serving the country and pursuing revolutionary truth from an early age, excavates many little-known stories about Lu Deming, fills in some historical gaps, and is the most accurate, recorded and vividly narrated historical facts about Lu Deming, the commander-in-chief of the Autumn Harvest Uprising.
On July 5, 2019, the Central Propaganda Department organized a symposium on the publication and distribution of the chinese martyrs' story collection series such as "Lu Deming", and listed "Lu Deming" and other Chinese martyrs' story collection books as the 2019 summer extracurricular reading materials recommended to college, middle and primary school students across the country.
On October 22, 2019, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the notice of the "2019 National Primary and Secondary School Library (Room) Recommended Bibliography", and the Chinese Character Story Collection Series "Lu Deming" was listed. This work has won the 2019-2020 Outstanding Literary and Artistic Works Award from the Propaganda Department of the Zigong Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China.
It is reported that in 2007, the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China integrated the original 22 national publishing industry awards into the China Publishing Government Awards, with 6 sub-awards.
