On January 12, the unveiling ceremony of "Donghua-ANTA Joint Innovation Research Institute" (hereinafter referred to as "Joint Innovation Research Institute") was held at The Songjiang Campus of Donghua University. The two sides will establish a long-term, close and win-win strategic partnership, strengthen scientific and technological research through the in-depth integration of production, education and research, work together to create a breakthrough innovation and original design platform leading the sports footwear industry, and jointly promote the research and development, industrialization application and talent training of sports shoes and apparel.

In the next 5 years, the Joint Innovation Research Institute will focus on three aspects: scientific and technological empowerment, Chinese design, and talent training. In terms of scientific and technological research and development, the two sides will carry out joint research around the research and development of new materials for sports shoes and apparel, fabric technology development, intelligent manufacturing technology including sustainable development of scientific and technological fabrics; in terms of original design, the two sides will carry out joint research on product design, fashion design, functional design and other aspects of sports shoes and apparel; in addition, the two sides will continue to strengthen talent training and cooperation exchanges, establish graduate practice bases and undergraduate internship bases, establish joint training mechanisms for graduate students, and company talent training.
The signing and unveiling of the "Donghua-ANTA Joint Innovation Research Institute" marks that Donghua University and ANTA Group focus on the original design and technological innovation of sports brands, and jointly promote the research and development of new materials and new designs in the field of sports shoes and clothing, taking a key step in substantive and comprehensive cooperation.
