Zhao Zhiqian, (1829-1884), originally known as Tie Sanhou changed to Yifu, was only named Zhiqian after middle age, the character Zhi Shu, alias Zhi Zi Mei An, Wu Bored, etc. Zhao Zhiqian was a knowledgeable and talented seal engraver calligrapher and painting master, who worked in all four bodies, especially loved the Wei Stele, whose Wei Stele was beautiful and beautiful, chuchu and moving, and other calligraphy styles were more or less affected.
At the age of thirty-five, Zhao Zhiqian entered Beijing, and since then he has extensively collected Han Dynasty tablets, obtained a lot, and most of them have been studied and copied. Therefore, between the ages of thirty-five and fifty, many of the Handwriting of Han tablets he wrote have been handed down to the world. In addition, during this period, he also made a serious study of Shen Junchu's "Liu Xiong Monument" and wrote an explanatory inscription. When he was forty-five years old, he also supplemented the ninety-six characters of the fragment of Li Wentian's "Xiyue Huashan Temple Stele". It can be seen that Zhao Zhi is humble in lishu and works hard and diligently.
Zhao Zhiqian's Lishu once taught The Fa Deng Shiru, but he came up with a new idea, and widely took other classics, in addition to the "Liu Xiong Monument", there were also "WuRong Monument", "Gu Lang Monument", "Fenglong Mountain Ode", "Yuanping Monument", etc., so that his Lishu was further integrated into the North Monument technique and eventually formed a Lishu with the "Meaning of Wei Monument", which became a model of the style of writing in that era.
