FaceTime is a video calling software built into Apple's iOS and Mac OS X that enables video calls between two devices with FaceTime. The latest iOS 15 system optimizes this feature, and non-Apple devices can also be added to FaceTime. Recently, foreign players on Reddit discovered that they can use Microsoft's Xbox for FaceTime video chat, interestingly Apple's own Apple TV can't do it.
In a Reddit post, user Javon TEvans unveiled his method of using the Xbox Series S for FaceTime video chat: As long as he has a camera, he can then use the Xbox Series S's built-in Edge browser to video chat with other users by opening the email.
On the other hand, Apple TV not only does not have a dedicated FaceTime APP, but also can not connect to a third-party camera, so it can only project the phone or tablet call to Apple TV for video chat through AirPlay.
