Apple has fulfilled its iOS 15 system feature promise

IT House March 24 news, according to 9to5 Mac reported that Apple iOS 15 was previewed for the first time during the WWDC21 last June. It was released last September, but the iOS 15 system on the new iPhone 13 was missing several important features. Now, after six months and four major updates to the iOS 15.x system in this cycle, Apple has finally fulfilled every feature promise previewed on WWDC21.

Apple has fulfilled its iOS 15 system feature promise

iOS 15 promises improvements and changes, including an improved focus mode, a new Safari design, and more features for FaceTime. Apple was also able to bring the ability to track iPhones through the first version of iOS 15, even when the power is turned off, but many other features are still not available.

A month after its initial release, Apple released version 15.1 of iOS. One of the most anticipated features, SharePlay is finally available. With it, you can connect with a dozen friends or family and use FaceTime to watch parties, listen to songs, or exercise together.

Five weeks later, with the arrival of iOS 15.2, Apple brought two other features that were lacking when iOS 15 was first announced: app privacy reporting and legacy contacts.

With the App Privacy Report, users can see how often apps have accessed their location, photos, camera, microphone, and contacts over the past seven days. Legacy contacts will allow users to designate some people as legacy contacts so they can access mobile phone accounts and personal information in the event of a user's death.

Even with these two major updates, there is still a lack of features, more notably universal control of iPadOS and macOS users and digital ID IDs for U.S. users. Surprisingly, iOS 15.3 only polished the iOS experience and didn't bring obvious new features.

Then, in the official version of iOS 15.4, which was just released last week, Apple brought universal control capabilities, and today the company announced the first state in the United States to use a digital ID ID card , Arizona. That said, all of the features that were first previewed during the June WWDC21 keynote are finally available.

It's worth noting that two features are still in beta testing. Universal control and private relay, but both features work as reliably as possible and are available to all users.

iOS 15 also brings the ability to share FaceTime links, so Android and PC users can join video calls. Not only that, but it also brings the ability to store home and hotel keys and work permits in the Apple Wallet app.

The next step is to look forward to this summer's WWDC22 Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple expects to release a new iOS 16 system and launch its first developer preview.
