She made a great contribution to the overthrow of thousands of years of feudal rule and the Xinhai Revolution. Her father was an official at the end of the Qing Dynasty, but she was not influenced by feudal ideas, but when she witnessed the feudal and corrupt rule of the Manchu Qing Dynasty, she worried about the country and the people, and gave birth to revolutionary ideas. When he was about 20 years old, under the order of his parents, he married Wang Tingjun, the son of Zeng Guofan's cousin. The Wang family has been in business for many years and is the richest man in Xiangtan.
After marriage, Qiu Jin and Wang Tingjun had a son and a daughter, but the married life was not happy. One is worried about the country and the people, and the other is a rich man who is not doing his job and is idle, and in many ways the two have different opinions. Slowly, the two men walked farther and farther away. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, when people were deeply humiliated and oppressed, Qiu Jin resolutely decided to study in Japan alone.
During this period, Qiu Jin met many revolutionary volunteers and devoted herself to the revolution. In 1904, she returned to China to join the revolution on the orders of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. At the time of Qiu Jin's death, her son Wang Yuande was only 10 years old, and her daughter Wang Canzhi was only 6 years old. Shortly after the loss of their mother, their father Wang Tingjun and grandfather also died of illness. Fortunately, a grandmother raised them and took the brothers and sisters to the countryside to avoid being poisoned. During the Xinhai Revolution, 14-year-old Wang Yuande followed his mother's legacy and joined the League. Under the supervision of his predecessors, he entered Changsha Mingde School to study. Not long after, the warlord Tang Qianming hunted down and killed the members of the League, and he had to drop out of school at home and was later admitted to Shanghai Zhengfeng University. During the Northern Expedition, he served as the general manager and president of Jiangsheng Daily, advocating revolution.
Later, Wang Yuande had no intention of entering politics and returned home to do business after the newspaper closed. He did business in Changsha and Xiangtan and founded the Yong'an Development Paste Mine Company and the Electrical Company. Perhaps inheriting the business acumen of his ancestors, under his management, the business has become bigger and bigger, making the Wang family the richest man in Xiangtan again. The Japanese army had invited him to a pseudo-post, but he resolutely refused, avoiding the countryside and unwilling to betray the motherland and the people. In order to support the War of Resistance Against Japan, he used righteousness to spare money, provide disaster relief and poverty relief, help our party members, and inherit Qiu Jin's legacy. Later, under the arrangement of the prime minister, he was responsible for sorting out Qiu Jin's information, and died on May 16, 1955, at the age of 58.
And Wang Canzhi did not embarrass her mother, and by the age of 15 she could write beautiful articles. She is very fond of martial arts and calligraphy, and has studied tai chi with her teachers, and her skills are very deep. She inherited Qiu Jin's chivalrous character, was bold and generous, and was nicknamed "Little Hero". In 1928, she went to New York University to study aircraft manufacturing and aeronautics. Two years later, Wang Canzhi returned to China and became China's first female pilot. She is highly skilled in flying and is known as the "Female Pilot of the East" by the American aviation community. One day in 1967, Wang Canzhi suddenly suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died due to ineffective rescue.
