The exhibition exhibits a total of 100 works of art created with the theme of Olympic culture, Olympic city culture and Traditional Chinese culture, and the Olympic motto of "faster, higher, stronger - more unity" is condensed in a piece of artwork with Chinese characteristics, waiting for visitors from all over the world.
Yu Zaiqing, Vice Chairman of the International Olympic Committee and Vice Chairman of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, Shen Qianfan, Director of the Olympic Village Department of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, Cao Kang, Vice Chairman of the China Sports Journalists Association, Hou Kun, Member of the Culture and Olympic Heritage Committee of the International Olympic Committee, Li Geng, President of the Li KeJian Painting Academy, and Li Xiang, Chairman of the Sports Culture Collection Committee of the Chinese Collectors Association, attended the opening ceremony. Feng Yibo, secretary general of the organizing committee of the event, said that the Winter Olympic Village is the home of athletes and delegation officials during the competition, so that ice and snow athletes from all over the world can enjoy the Chinese sports culture painted by Chinese artists at the "doorstep" of Han Mo Danqing, and I believe that it will leave them with beautiful and unforgettable memories of the Winter Olympics.
After the opening ceremony, more than a dozen famous calligraphers and painters have written "fu". Chinese New Year's Eve night, these "Fu" characters will decorate the Beijing Winter Olympic Village and send New Year greetings to ice and snow athletes around the world.
It is reported that the exhibition will last until the conclusion of the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games on March 13. During the competition, the exhibition will also be exhibited to the public in a number of art galleries such as the Beijing Li Kejian Painting Institute. After the conclusion of the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games, the organizing committee will also carry out touring exhibitions in many places across the country, and some works will be selected and sent to many Olympic museums at home and abroad for collection.
