The deeds of Major General Zhong Wei
Zhong Wei was the founding hero of New China and the "General Patton" of China, who spent his whole life in the revolution, and his way of fighting was affirmed by Lin Shuai, and his troops were also known as the "Tiger Division".
In 1911, Zhong Wei was born in Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, which was one of the birthplaces of the early democratic revolution, thanks to this, Zhong Wei was exposed to revolutionary ideas very early, coupled with the poor peasant family, he was even closer to the Chinese Communist Party, at the age of 17, he joined the Chinese Communist Youth League.
In 1930, he joined the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, and in this year he officially became a communist, he served as a propagandist in the political department of the Third Red Army, the leader of the propaganda team of the political department of the Third Division, etc., but these were not what Zhong Wei wanted, and his character made him always apply to the organization to go to the front!
Later, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to carry out the Long March, and Zhong Wei unswervingly carried out this, in which he experienced hardships, but he saw the dawn of victory and the bright prospects of the revolution, so he chose to overcome even the greatest difficulties.

When he reached the area around Paoshantun, he suddenly heard the sound of gunfire, so he quickly ordered the troops to rest and let the scouts go to investigate. Just after lunch, the scouts returned to report that the enemy's 88th Division was near the Paoshan Tun.
This news invigorated Zhong Wei, who sent a telegram to the General Headquarters and subsequently received instructions: "If the number of enemy troops is small, they can be annihilated on the spot, and if there are many, they will be led to the west of the mountain tun and wait for the main force." ”
Subsequently, Zhong Wei learned from the scouts that the enemy army was retreating in the direction of Dehui, and when he got this news, Zhong Wei did not hesitate any longer and directly ordered: "Stop advancing and prepare for battle!" ”。
Under his command, the Fifth Division scattered the enemy troops, and the commander of the enemy division fled in a hurry. Zhong Wei had planned to take advantage of the victory to pursue, but at this time he received instructions from Lin Shuai: stop the pursuit, advance to the east, and block the enemy in the direction of Dehui.
Zhong Wei was very embarrassed by this order, if he accepted the order, the victory that was not easy to get in hand would fly, and if he disobeyed the military order, it would be a big thing in the army.
After some consideration, Zhong Wei decided to "fight, I am responsible for the accident!" In his opinion, it is difficult to reach the designated place on time when advancing to the eastern front, so it is better not to listen.
Later, he twice refused to carry out Lin Shuai's orders and let the troops fight in Paoshantun ( Paoshan Tun ) , and as for Lin Shuai 's order to "advance east", he put them aside.
