Now Hainan Island has developed transportation and beautiful scenery, and is a paradise for vacation. It is not the same as the barbarism and backwardness of Su Shi's era more than a thousand years ago.
We chatted about Su Shi all the way and lamented that Su Shi had achieved the pinnacle of achievements in many aspects such as poetry, literature, words, books, paintings, cultivation of the heart, and enlightenment in the Song Dynasty, which was full of talents. We shared the story of Su Shi's judgment: During Su Shi's assassination history in the West Lake, once, a silk cloth merchant and a fan merchant fought a lawsuit over debt. Because of the death of his father, he delayed the season of selling fans, and caught up with the rainy season, the fans could not be sold at all, could not pay off the debt, and was sued by the silk cloth merchants to the government. Su Shi asked the fan merchant to go home and get 20 fans, personally painted the bamboo, dead wood, strange stones, etc. on these 20 fans, and then let the fan merchant take it out and sell it. The fan was immediately snatched up and the dispute was satisfactorily resolved.
It is such a Su Shi who hid the sufferings of the people in his heart, but because he offended the powerful and had a bumpy career, he was degraded again and again. Danzhou in Hainan was his last place of exile, and in the Song Dynasty, exile in Hainan was only a lesser punishment than the crime of copying the door, bearing the humiliation of exile and the hardships of trekking. At that time, Su Shi "ate no meat, no medicine for illness, no place to live, no friends, no charcoal in winter, and no cold spring in summer." "The officials who were demoted to Hainan before Su Shi did not survive. Su Shi came to Hainan Island at the age of sixty-two, prepared a coffin and a cemetery for himself, and prepared to grow old here. With his consistent open-mindedness, he actually survived this difficult period of hardship healthily, influencing and benefiting the people.
With admiration for Su Shi, he walked into Dongpo Academy.
As soon as you enter the gate, on the right hand side is a large painting, on which is Su Shi's masterpiece "Dingfeng Wave": Don't listen to the sound of leaves beating through the forest, why not groan and xu xing. Bamboo cane mango shoes light victory over horses, who is afraid? A cloud of smoke and rain is a life of peace. The steep spring wind blows wine awake, slightly cold, but the mountain head obliquely illuminates each other. Looking back at the place where it has always been, returning, there is no wind or rain or sunshine.
It is precisely by the optimism and wisdom in the words. Su Shi regarded the barbaric Hainan Island as his hometown and wrote a strong stroke for Hainan Island.
After passing through the winding path, you will reach the "Wine Hall". The "Wine Hall" is one of the important relics left by Su Shi in Danzhou on Hainan Island. In 1097, Su Shi came to Zhonghe Town, Danzhou, Hainan, and lived in the official residence. But his political enemies did not spare him and drove him out of the official quarters. Su Shi had to find a place outside the city to build a simple house to settle down, and became a neighbor with the gentleman Li Ziyun at that time, and the next year, Li Ziyun funded to help build a new house, and Su Shi named it "Zaijiutang", which is now Dongpo Academy.
In the main hall of the "Wine Hall" is a group of painted sculptures of lectures, in the center is su Shi, who is elegant and elegant, on the left is Li Ziyun, who funded the construction of the "Wine Hall", and on the right is su Guo, the son who gave up his career and accompanied his father to Hainan.
The allusion to the "Wine Hall" comes from the "Book of Han Yangxiong Biography", and it is said that Yangxiong "had a poor family, was addicted to alcohol, and people wanted to go to the door." Sometimes there are good people who carry wine and dishes from the study tour. "It is said that Yang Xiong returned home after resigning from the government, because his family was poor but good wine, and people often came to school with fine wine and delicacies. In addition, Yang Xiong has a deep study of ancient characters such as Jin Wen, and many people have come to consult, and the idiom of "carrying wine and asking words" comes from this. Since then, "asking for words with wine" has often been used to indicate that someone has knowledge, and many people have come to the door to ask for advice.
In the year of the Northern Song Dynasty, Qiongxi, where Danzhou is located, is still a barbaric land, the local economy and culture are very backward, not only there are very few readers, but there are almost no textbooks for teaching. In the four hundred years from the opening of the Sui Dynasty to the time Su Shi was demoted to Hainan, Hainan did not produce a single person who had obtained a meritorious name.
Su Shi used the "wine hall" to communicate with literary friends, he compiled his own teaching materials, settled here to give lectures, and although the house was simple, the books were loud every day. Su Shi taught in Hainan, and soon made the "Wine Hall" the focus and cultural center of the Qiongxi literary circle at that time. Before Su Shi came to Hainan, there had not been a real reader in Hainan. He came to Hainan to train Jiang Tangzuo, the first person in Hainan, and in order to encourage Jiang Tangzuo, Su Shi inscribed on his fan: "How did the canghai ever break the earth's pulse?" Pearl Cliff has since broken the sky. Su Shi also cultivated the first Jinshi Fu Qi. He popularized education and spread culture in western Hainan, and the later "Chronicle of Qiongtai" also gave high praise to this: "Song Suwen zhonggong who lived in Dan'er, taught the Ming Tao, indoctrinated Rixing, Qiongzhou's humanistic flourishing, and shigong qizhi." Since then, Hainan people have repeatedly gone to high school in the imperial examinations of successive dynasties. This cannot but be attributed to Su Shi's contribution to Hainan education, which is really "the misfortune of the eastern slope and the luck of Hainan".
At Dongpo Academy, there is a plant called "paparazzi", and its flowers bloom uniquely. Flower Heart is like 5 puppies crouching together. Wang Anshi, the prime minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, once had a poem that "the bright moon is called in the air, and the five dogs lie down with flowers". Su Shi felt that this poem did not make sense. The bright moon can only be illuminated in the air, how can the five dogs lie down? So he took it upon himself to change the poem to "When the moon is in the air, the five dogs lie in the shade of flowers." Wang Anshi smiled slightly, and did not break it. Later, Dongpo was in Danzhou, and one day, he saw the five-colored bird calling in the air, so he asked the local people for advice, and learned that this bird was called the bright moon bird. Another time, he found a plant in the wilderness, like the heart of five dogs lying on the flower. At this time, he suddenly realized and was ashamed.
Dongpo Academy has a plaque with a painting on it. It is said that once, Su Shi saw a Li woman chewing betel nut and carrying a bamboo basket to her husband who was working in the field to deliver food, so he casually moaned: "Hair is fluffy and mouthy, and every day she sends food to TianFu." The woman of the Li family immediately said, "Right or wrong is because of more openings, remember that the king degraded you." Su Shi was shocked by the wisdom of the common people.
The tour guide said that once, the local villagers gave Su Shi a lot of oysters, and after Su Shi was full of food, he did not forget to tell his son Su Guo not to tell others about this delicacy, "I am afraid that the gentlemen of the north will hear about it, and they will strive to do what Dongpo does, and ask who is Hainan, and share my beauty." ”
Such an interesting story. As in his poem: "Ask Ru Ping for his life and deeds, Huangzhou Huizhou Danzhou." It is nothing more than interpreting Su Shi's attitude towards a life of suffering. Su Shi constantly self-deprecating, self-reflection and self-improvement. His lovely frankness and unchangeable optimist have endured thousands of years of ups and downs and are deeply rooted in the blood of the Chinese nation.
The academy also has inscriptions of Su Shi's poems, calligraphy and paintings, and a strong cultural atmosphere floats in the academy. Successive dynasties have been continuously repaired, and the current Dongpo Academy covers an area of more than tens of acres, and the pavilions, ponds, gardens, corridors, boxes, courtyards, Dongpo private schools, wells and other facilities within the walls are readily available.

Our trip to Hainan, because of the visit to "Dongpo Academy" and the infusion of cultural elements, became thick and meaningful!
