Zhang Zuolin admired him, and the Japanese feared him, known as Xiao Zhuge Ge, and was shot and killed by Zhang Xueliang in the Tiger Hall

Yang Yuting (1885-1929), also known as Lingge, was born in Sheshangou Village, Fengtian Faku (now Faku County, Shenyang), whose ancestral home was Dailing Village, Song Daokou Town. Graduated from the eighth infantry section of the Japanese Army Non-Commissioned Officer School. He has long assisted Zhang Zuolin, the leader of the Fengzhi warlords, and successively served as chief of staff of the Fengjun Army, director of training of the Northeast Army, general office of the Arsenal of the Three Eastern Provinces, commander of the Third and Fourth Armies of the Fengjun Army, military affairs supervisor of Jiangsu, chief of staff of the Anguo Army, member of the Northeast Political Affairs Committee, and member of the National Government.

After Zhang Zuolin's death, Yang regarded himself as the elder of the northeast and often disciplined Zhang Xueliang. Yang opposed the Northeast Yizhi, and refused to participate in the collective photo on the day of the Northeast Yizhi ceremony. The Japanese also provoked Zhang Yang relations. On January 10, 1929, Yang Yuting and Chang Yinhuai, chairman of Heilongjiang Province, proposed to Zhang Xueliang a request to establish the Northeast Railway Supervision Office, Zhang Xueliang said that dinner would be said, and then summoned police commissioner Gao Jiyi into the palace, in the evening Yang Yuting and Chang Yinhuai were killed by six guards led by Gao Jiyi and Tan Hai in the "Tiger Hall", Fengtian called this incident "Yang Chang Incident"

Yang Yuting assisted Zhang Zuolin in doing four major things:

The first is to establish the Northeast Navy, which has made the army self-contained and enhanced the strength of the troops.

The second is to formulate a land endowment system, dig out a large number of uncultivated wasteland from the hands of warlords and landlords for peasants to cultivate, develop production, and enhance the economic strength of the northeast.

At that time, the right of the South Manchuria Railway in the northeast belonged to Japan, and the war-readiness highway was built, and transportation was not subject to Japan's coercion.

The fourth is to supervise the Fengtian (Shenyang) Arsenal, make self-made weapons and ammunition to equip the army, and enhance the defensive capability.

As a result of this, the military, political, and economic strength of the northeast has increased greatly, so that the Japanese, who have long coveted the three eastern provinces of China, dare not act rashly. On the issue of the Japanese asking Zhang Zuolin to implement "mixed residence" in the northeast, Yang Yuting believed that this was a copy of Article 16 of Article 21 of Yuan Shikai's traitorous state, and strongly advocated not agreeing to it. The Japanese saw that Yang's actions were the main obstacle to their invasion of the northeast, and thus gave rise to the idea of "the sage of the neighboring country and the enemy of the enemy".

On the evening of January 10, 1929, Yang Yuting came home from work, heard that there was a phone call from the Shuai Government asking him to play cards, and drove there without eating. Who expected that as soon as he entered the Shuai Mansion, he and Chang Yinhuai, the governor of Heilongjiang Province, were detained in a car for false charges such as withholding military salaries, delaying military opportunities, and plotting misconduct, and were shot and killed by Zhang Xueliang's prearranged police commissioner Gao Jiyi and adjutant Tan Hai in the east hall of the Shuai Mansion's hall (Tiger Hall). Afterwards, Zhang Xueliang was so remorseful that he had destroyed the Great Wall, and he took Liu Duoquan to send a condolence fee of 10,000 yuan to Yang and Chang's families, and personally wrote to Chunyuan, the eldest son of Yang Yuting, who was studying in France, to comfort him to study with peace of mind.

Yang Yuting is an orthodox soldier who does not smoke and drink, has no hobbies, and has a life of conceit and competitiveness. When he was young, in order to practice riding, he was bitten by a warhorse in the middle of the night while secretly riding a horse. After leading the soldiers, the illegal soldiers were severely punished, regardless of whether they were close or distant. When assisting Zhang Zuolin, he encouraged himself as an emperor and a prime minister, and regarded the lord as the same. He had a secretary, but he often personally approved documents until late at night. But he was narrow-minded and never tolerated those who were not friendly with him. He was very superstitious, and there were warlocks in his family all year round, and he asked for help in case of trouble. Before the Tiger Hall incident, he also supported the beggars and had to say: "Chaos is disorganized, and it grows away." The warlock thought the slang was ominous and asked him to be careful. By coincidence, within a few days he died. Later, folklore said: "Blow up Wu (Junsheng) Zhang (Zuolin), Yang (Yuting) Chang (Yin Huai) and go." ”
