But it has to be said that in Europe, the Peugeot 308 has always been a very hot existence.
From the appearance point of view, the new Peugeot 308 can be described as very delicate, the "dot matrix" network three-dimensional sense is very strong, the "fangs" headlights are extremely aggressive, the bulging ribs on the hood make it a little more muscular, and the smooth curve shows the identity of its urban family car. However, there is another good news, that is, the current overseas 308 series are matched with aisin 8AT gearbox, I believe that the introduction of domestic production will not be specially equipped with 6AT or DCT. The advantages of the 8AT gearbox are still relatively obvious, one is more smooth, and the other is more fuel-efficient. In fact, the current Versailles C5 X, which is relatively hot, is also a fully equipped 8AT gearbox.
As for the 1.6T plug-in hybrid version, its engine has a maximum horsepower of 180 horses, and the motor can provide an additional maximum power output of 81kW, and the overall performance should be stronger than the traditional 2.0T power. But the price of this version is likely to be close to that of the Versailles C5 X.
Then there is the advantage of the latest EMP2 platform, the new 308 uses more high-strength steel, its vehicle weight compared to the old model dropped by 70kg, the chassis spring quality is further reduced, which will make the new car's handling limit higher, and fuel consumption will be further reduced, of course, the safety will be better.

(3) Localization of the big conjecture, the original version of the introduction of more praise?
To be honest, the previous generations of 308 are actually domestic redesigned sedan versions. The original 308 was introduced once, officially named 308S, but because it was a period when hatchbacks were marginalized, the market performance was not good.
But today is different from the past, today's Chinese people, the acceptance of personalized models is significantly higher. The most typical is the Dragon's own Versailles C5 X, which, although positioned as a mid-level sedan, is far taller and wider than the same level of sedan, and has a clear shadow of SUVs and station wagons in the design.
According to the previous cognition, this "four unlike" model is unlikely to catch fire, but the ending is very unexpected, it has become a hot model, and even is pushing a car company revival. And now everyone's acceptance of hatchbacks has also become higher, and there are three of the hottest cars today, the Hongguang MINI EV, Honda Fit and BYD Dolphin, which are all hatchback designs.
In fact, the original introduction of the hatchback new 308 may be more in line with the appetite of the market. And take it directly, the manufacturer's work is easier.
Then there is the configuration and pricing, in the past, Shenlong actually did not do well in this regard. But starting with the Versailles C5 X, the Dragon has made significant changes.
