According to the data, GAC Passenger Vehicle (GAC Trumpchi) sold 32,151 units in December, a slight increase of 2.18% compared with 31,464 units in the same period last year. For the full year of 2021, GAC Trumpchi's cumulative vehicle sales were 324,201 units, an increase of 10.35% year-on-year compared to 293,803 units in the previous year.
AT PRESENT, GAC TRUMPCHI currently has SED CARS SUCH AS TRUMPCHI GA4, TRUMPCHI GA6, TRUMPCHI GA8 AND SHADOW LEOPARD, SUV models such as Trumpchi GS3, TRUMPCHI GS4, TRUMPCHI GS4 COUPE, TRUMPCHI GS4 PLUS, TRUMPCHI GS8, and MPV models such as Trumpchi M6 and Trumpchi M8. As the Trumpchi GS4 of GAC Trumpchi in previous years, the sales volume in the past two years has not been satisfactory, but it is still the best-selling model of GAC Trumpchi. The two MPV models sold well, the Trumpchi M8 surpassed Odyssey and Alexand, and the Trumpchi M6 became the best-selling model of the 100,000-class household MPV. In particular, the sales of Trumpchi Shadow Leopard, which was listed in August, increased steadily, with the highest monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles, becoming the growth point of GAC Trumpchi's sales.
At the group level, gac motor group's cumulative sales in 2021 reached 2.144 million units, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year, and the sales of two major independent brands, GAC Trumpchi and GAC Eian, increased. GAC Toyota's sales reached a new high, with annual sales reaching 828,000 units, up 8.23% year-on-year. However, GAC Honda's sales fell 3.17% year-on-year, while GAC Mitsubishi and GAC FCA's sales fell by 11.99% and 50.33% respectively.
