The FCV project completed the expected target and more than 25% of the promotional models were equipped with Yihuatong products

Recently, the United Nations Development Programme released the "Promoting the Commercial Development of Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCV) in China" project through the final assessment notice and project final evaluation report, announcing that the demonstration cities have successfully completed the expected promotion goals. The report shows that the project has achieved remarkable results in vehicle demonstration operation, industrial chain improvement, industrial scale, etc., and the demonstration cities have cumulatively promoted more than 3,200 fuel cell vehicles and reduced carbon by more than 230,000 tons. Among them, more than 800 models in Beijing, Zhangjiakou, Zhengzhou and other places are equipped with Yihuatong's fuel cell series products.

The "Project to Promote the Commercialization and Development of Fuel Cell Vehicles in China" is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology with the Support of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Joint Local Government. The project was officially launched in August 2016 with an implementation period of 5 years, and the demonstration areas include Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Zhangjiakou, Foshan, Yancheng, Changshu, etc., aiming to promote the quality and cost reduction of Fuel Cell Vehicles in China and the construction of industrial ecology. After 5 years of demonstration, the project expert group conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the demonstration city through field visits, inquiries and exchanges, and finally the expert group agreed that the demonstration city projects were promoted strongly and had completed the predetermined goals, of which vehicles, hydrogen refueling stations and supporting funds were in place and exceeded.

According to the relevant person in charge of Yihuatong, as an important undertaker of the project, the company has overcome difficulties over the years, continued to break through the core technology bottleneck, and constantly introduced new products, and the power of a new generation of high-power autonomous fuel cell series products has been increased to 240kW, which can be adapted to all land transportation models including buses, groups, medium and heavy trucks, etc. As of the end of the project, the models in the project have been promoted more than 800 units in Beijing, Zhangjiakou, Zhengzhou and other cities, with an operating mileage of more than 27 million kilometers.

In addition, in the above-mentioned demonstration cities, Yihuatong also actively cooperates with upstream and downstream enterprises in the local industrial chain to continuously expand and improve the ecological construction of hydrogen energy. In particular, with the help of the 2022 Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics, we will unite PetroChina, Sinopec, Guodian Investment, Beiqi Foton, Beijing Bus, CSIC 718, Zhangjiakou Jiaotong and other enterprises to create China's first green coupling ecology for renewable energy and fuel cell development, the Winter Olympic Hydrogen Energy Demonstration City, and the increasingly perfect Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hydrogen energy ecosystem.
