According to public data, clean energy vehicles (non-traditional energy) accounted for 100% of passenger cars and 84.9% of all vehicles in the transportation service vehicles used at the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. Among them, there are 816 hydrogen fuel vehicles, accounting for nearly 20%. This is by far the world's largest demonstration application scenario for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
With the research and development of hydrogen fuel cell system technology as the core, Yihuatong undertook the research and development and application demonstration project of "hydrogen energy travel" in the key special project of "Science and Technology Winter Olympics". The secret to generating electricity from glass lies in a special material – cadmium telluride. The principle is to plate two pieces of ordinary glass with a layer of 4 micron-thick cadmium telluride material, the thickness is equivalent to four hundredths of a hair, when there is this film, you can make the glass from an insulator into a conductor, light is absorbed by the glass into electrical energy, and then imported into the inverter can be used directly.
It is estimated that the design life of power generation glass is 30 years, and it has stable performance in extreme environments such as low temperature and high altitude. Cadmium telluride power generation glass can achieve power generation in low-light environments.
Before the birth of "Made in Sichuan" cadmium telluride glass, foreign technology could only produce 0.6 meters long and 1.2 meters wide glass, and the power generation efficiency was not high. Pan Jin's power team developed the core process of gasification coating, so that 4 micron-thick cadmium telluride crystals continuously "grow" on the glass, making a large glass with an area of more than 3 times that of similar products.
All venues of the Beijing Winter Olympics are supplied with green electricity. To this end, the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee searched for various clean energy products and threw an olive branch to Chengdu CNBM Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd.
