At that time, the strength of the Chinese army and the Japanese army was very different, Japan developed rapidly in the late 1980s, and the domestic military economy developed far beyond China, but the anti-Japanese fighters did not give up, even if they held a large knife, they had to rush to the front line and fight the Japanese army to the end. After each fierce battle, the battlefield is full of bloody corpses, anti-Japanese fighters with their own bodies to protect the peace of the country, they put the hope of victory on the living soldiers, after more than ten years of resistance, finally ushered in the dawn of victory with the help of the allies, the surviving anti-Japanese fighters were also subjected to supreme glory.
Jiang Kaiguo was one of the many survivors, born in Jiangshan County, Zhejiang Province, at the age of sixteen, he applied for the National Army Communication Corps, worked hard during the school period, achieved excellent results, and was later escorted into Huangpu and became the correspondent of the sixteenth period of the Huangpu Military Academy. After graduation, he was assigned to the E-Shaanxi-Gansu Garrison Headquarters as a radio squad leader, was awarded the rank of second lieutenant, and later because of an accidental injury, during the recuperation period at home, the anti-Japanese war was tense, he urgently joined the Qujiang Assault Brigade, in the Qujiang area to resist Japan.
Although he was a signal soldier, the quality of the soldier in his body made him quickly become an excellent anti-Japanese fighter, and during the guerrilla period, he single-handedly eliminated hundreds of devils, which was a very prominent achievement. He was also appointed captain, military instructor, and so on, but after the end of the War of Resistance, he did not stay in the army and chose to return to his hometown to marry and have children. After returning to his hometown, he was silent about his military experience, he did not want his peaceful life to be disturbed, and he did not want his wife's family to be noticed by outsiders.
He buried the medals, certificates and uniforms he had won deep in the ground, which was a lifelong honor for him, but the honor was not shown, he was anonymous for 35 years, and even his children did not know his identity. It was not until 1984, because of the visit of volunteers, that he revealed his identity, digging out the certificate buried for 35 years and a Zhongzheng sword to show everyone, although the sword has rusted, it is still extremely precious to the elderly, which is the honor of his life.
