First, anti-Japanese films triggered a patriotic upsurge

On November 19, 2021, the anti-Japanese movie "Railway Hero" was released, and the old king of the southwest Region of Luzhou played by the film emperor Fan Wei, his anti-Japanese deeds that can be sung and wept, let the audience leave tears.

In the movie "Railway Hero", the Japanese Kou found that Lao Wang was originally an anti-Japanese personnel lurking behind the enemy. In the face of Rikou's inquiry, Elder Wang completely relaxed, laughing and angry at Rikou in a standard Zaozhuang dialect: "Obviously it is a beast pretending to be someone, the thief lets the master tell a story, Oh, don't face!" ”。 In the end, under the kidnapping of the Japanese devils, the old king's head was brutally killed by the Japanese Kou.

Since ancient times, Shandong people have been known for their righteousness, loyalty to the king and patriotism. After the Japanese army invaded China in 1931, the people of the southwestern Lu region who "did not want to be slaves to the country" rose up and followed the fearless spirit of the Eighth Route Army to resist japan, which was even more admirable.

The real history is that during World War II, on October 3, 1937, the Japanese army invaded Shandong. From June 1938 onwards, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China instructed the rebel forces in various parts of Shandong to use the name of the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Detachment of the Eighth Route Army to open up anti-Japanese base areas in Luzhong, Luxi, Lunan, Jiaodong, Qinghe and other areas. Under the command of the CPC Central Committee, the Shandong Eighth Route Army won many battles and thwarted Japan's sinister attempt to invade China.

Second, Shandong's geographical position is superior, its economy is developed, and it is coveted by the Japanese Kou

Shandong Province is the first economic province in the north, the third largest economic province in the country, Shandong region has a large north-south span, both north and south characteristics, Shandong is an important birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization, with the longest coastline in the country, is an important window connecting the world.

Shandong Province belongs to the three major river basins of Huang, Huai and Hai, and the rivers within the territory are in addition to the Yellow River running through the east and west, and the Grand Canal running through the north and south. Shandong's fertile land and fertile fields are an important granary in northern China, as well as an important vegetable base, and the hometown of Confucius, the founder of Confucianism that affected the whole of Asia and even the world.

More critically, the Shandong region is across the sea from South Korea and Japan, with water in one garment and close at hand. The rich land of Qilu, as early as the Warring States period, is the first princely state, its highly developed economy, famous chinese civilization, Shandong is also the birthplace of the four major cuisines of Lu cuisine, Shandong Lu cuisine is famous in the world, is the first of the world's cuisine... These brilliant and dazzling achievements have long made the barbarian land of the Wokou Kingdom look at it with great embarrassment.

As early as after the Ming Dynasty, the Japanese Kou coveted the Chinese Shandong, the Japanese pirates often harassed the Coastal Areas of Shandong, for hundreds of years, the greatest wish of the Japanese Wokou elements was to eat Shandong into their stomachs, and also used Shandong as a coastal springboard for invading China. In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, seeing the weakening of the Qing Dynasty's national strength, the Japanese people's desire to get Shandong at this time can be said to be as eager as a hungry wolf.

In modern times, in 1919, after the end of the first world, Japan stared at Qingdao, Shandong, encouraged the great powers to support itself, and cunningly won the support of Europe, Chen Duxiu angrily declared: Shandong must not be lost, just as the West cannot lose Jerusalem.

Third, an inch of mountains and rivers and an inch of blood, Shandong's anti-Japanese resistance shocked the world

The fourteen-year War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was a crucial moment in the life and death of the Chinese nation, and all the anti-Japanese forces throughout the country united to throw their heads and spill their blood in order to save the Chinese nation.

On August 13, 1937, the Japanese army arrogantly shouted "three months to destroy China", and the Shanghai area desperately resisted, suffered heavy losses, and occupied Shanghai in an all-round way three months later. After the Japanese army captured Shanghai, it became more tyrannical and endangered the inland.

On December 13, 1937, the Japanese army captured Nanjing, creating the Nanjing Massacre that shocked China and foreign countries. This year was the saddest year for China and the darkest moment in Modern China. At this time, the Japanese army was lawless and wanted to open the Jinpu Line, pass through Zhengzhou to the south, occupy Wuhan, and control the whole of Greater China.

At this time, the Chinese nation is in danger, and it is urgent to save the chinese nation and survive. The Shandong Anti-Japanese Front, which has the spirit of loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, and righteousness, actively responded to the call of its superiors: During the war of resistance against Japan, the land was not divided into north and south, and people were not divided into old and young.

Since ancient times, the Shandong region has been loyal to the king and patriotic, regard death as a homecoming, and have the feeling of defending the family and the country; in the main battlefield of Shandong in eastern China, the Eighth Route Army has dealt a powerful blow to the Japanese army behind enemy lines, and also on the frontal battlefield, the Kuomintang army has also actively cooperated with the Eighth Route Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, which has also played an important role.

On March 16, 1938, the world-famous Battle of Taierzhuang began. Li Zongren was the commander of the Fifth Theater and commanded the defensive battle on the Jinpu Line. During the fierce battle that lasted for a month, the Chinese killed and wounded about 20,000 Japanese troops.

The Battle of Taierzhuang dealt a heavy blow to the Japanese aggressors, and this battle on the land of Qilu boosted the morale of the whole nation and annihilated a large number of living forces of the Japanese army; it was the greatest victory won since the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and it added confidence to the allies of the World Anti-Fascist Alliance in victory.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the loyal and simple people of Shandong rose up against the Japanese military aggressors. The land area of Shandong Province only accounts for 1.62% of the country's land area, and during the anti-Japanese period, the Shandong Theater annihilated more than 513,000 Japanese puppet troops, accounting for 30% of the total number of anti-Japanese armed forces under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

Behind the admirable achievements of the War of Resistance, however, the people of Shandong paid an extremely heavy price, and 895,000 compatriots were killed by the Japanese in the Shandong region.
