Release of the first concept car/robot in the first half of the year Next year The latest progress of the set degree is exposed

On January 5, on the eve of the 4th Haikou International New Energy Vehicle and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Exhibition, Jidu shared the latest progress of Jidu's car manufacturing. It is understood that Jidu will release the first concept car in the first half of 2022, and will mass-produce and deliver the first automotive robot in 2023.

In addition to exposing the timetable for car building and robots, Jidu SIMUCar (Software Integrated Simulation Vehicle) has successfully integrated urban and high-speed dual-domain intelligent driving functions at the end of 2021, which means that Jidu's intelligent driving function has initially equipped the ability to cope with complex road conditions in the city, not just highways with relatively good traffic environments.

Different from the traditional automobile research and development model, Jidu adopts the "agile development" model, its self-created SIMACar simulates the three electric and chassis systems of traditional cars, and in a near-real vehicle environment, through the adjustment of the electronic and electrical architecture of the basic model, the development of intelligent cockpit, automatic driving and other functions is placed in advance, thereby improving the research and development efficiency, and Jidu has begun to carry out the development of SIMUCar in September 2021.

At present, Jidu SIMUCar has entered the dynamic test stage, and has realized the functions of signal light recognition, right turn at intersection, and night driving through "weekly change".

Jidu to create an automotive robot, will have emotions and wisdom, with L4 level of automatic driving capabilities, can "move freely"; human-vehicle interaction and accurate recognition of speech semantics, so that cars and people can "naturally communicate", understand user emotions, real-time response to user needs; automotive robots can carry out self-learning and iteration according to users' habits, continuously optimize automatic driving and intelligent cockpit experience, and achieve "self-growth".
