Blood relatives mainly refer to relatives who originate from the same ancestor and have blood relations, including: parents, grandparents, maternal grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, grandchildren, etc. are all direct blood relatives, all of which belong to the scope of prohibited marriage.
Blood relatives also include legally fictional blood relatives. For example, between adoptive parents and adoptive children, step-parents and stepchildren who are raised and educated by them are imitation blood relatives. Fictional blood relatives are also direct blood relatives and fall under the category of prohibition of marriage.
Collateral blood relatives within three generations include: first, brothers and sisters of the same origin as parents, including siblings and half-siblings and half-siblings; second, uncles and nieces, aunts and nephews, uncles and nieces, aunts and nephews of different generations; third, cousins, cousins, uncles and cousins of the same generations from grandparents and maternal grandparents.
