Apple's 2022 new products are fully envisioned: VR headsets become the biggest suspense

After the small new product release in 2021, Apple will usher in a stronger 2022. The company will launch new iPhones, Macs, AirPods, and possibly virtual reality (VR) headsets.

Apple is developing a new line of professional-grade Mac computers based on the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, which are already installed in the MacBook Pro. New products include a smaller Mac Pro with up to 40 CPU cores and 128 GPU cores, a new Mac mini and a large-screen iMac Pro. Apple will complete the transition from Intel chips to self-developed chips as early as june at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Apple is also expected to release an external display in the new year, which will cost about half the price of the Pro Display XDR. For the notebook product line, the MacBook Air will usher in the largest redesign in history, and the entry-level MacBook Pro will be updated. Apple will also launch a new iPad Pro that supports wireless charging.

In terms of mobile phones and watches, Apple will launch a 5G version of the iPhone SE in the first half of 2022, and release the iPhone 14 series with a punched screen in the fall. Apple is also working on three new Apple Watches: the new SE, Series 8, and a rugged version for extreme sports enthusiasts. In 2022, Apple will be most closely watched whether it will release the first VR headset code-named N301 (supporting some augmented reality features) and an operating system code-named Oak. However, this product has already jumped the ticket before. Apple's initial goal was to release it in 2020, then postponed to 2021 WWDC, and now the target release date is WWDC in 2022.
