iOS 16 will retire the first generation of iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE, starting with the iPhone 7 series.
The first developer beta of iOS 16 will be released after WWDC22, while the official version will be released in mid-to-late September with the release of the new iPhone 14 series.
