When people become heroes

In this way, Chi Haotian captured more than a thousand people and received a nickname of "Chi Bold".
Winter at Lake Chosin
When the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea began, Chi Haotian went to Korea with his army and fought a hard battle at Chosin Lake. At that time, the most terrible enemy faced by the volunteers was not the American army, but the cold.
In 1950, Chosin Lake ushered in the coldest winter in 62 years, so cold that people from the soul to the body froze, even tears, eyelashes and even fingers will freeze. There is a comic about the Battle of Chosin Lake called "Logs Moving", which vividly shows this cruelty.
What's even more frightening is that many of the local warriors are from the south, and many of their clothes are very thin, and they can't bear the cold of Chosin Lake. You know, the latitude of Chosin Lake is very close to the northeast, and its cold is no less than that of the northeast where water is splashed into ice. Moreover, these southern warriors had no experience in fighting in this environment, and they had no idea what to do in this kind of ice and snow, so they died of frostbite and frostbite.
In the volunteer army, only two companies were almost frozen to death, one of which was where Chi Haotian was. He is a native of Shandong, and he has experience in the Kanto region, and he knows how to withstand the cold in this case.
In fact, in this extremely cold area, the heat preservation mainly relies on two points: one is to "move", that is, to maintain the movement of the body, so that the muscles will not be frostbitten, but also can make the blood circulate and feel warmer; the second is "rubbing", that is, rubbing the hands, feet and faces with things like snow to prevent frostbite. These two tricks are very useful in the absence of enough clothing, and Chi Haotian has developed a very strict inspection system to ensure that everyone can do it. The Battle of Chosin Lake became the second miracle that Chi Haotian experienced in his life. The Volunteers were met by the First Marine Division, the ace unit of the U.S. Army.
