Lin Xinping, born in October 1919, is a native of Pingyang, Zhejiang, she had ambitions at a very young age, in 1935 she was admitted to the Wenzhou Township Division Simple Department, during her studies, she had a stage to play, she actively participated in patriotic activities, but was arrested and imprisoned.
After her release from prison in 1936, she became more determined to join the revolution, participated in the shanghai underground party, and joined the Communist Party of China in November. After that, she began to work at the traffic station of the Political Department, taking cover with her brother Lin Yi.
In 1937, Lin Xinping was appointed as a confidential officer in the Shanghai office, the Japanese army soon occupied Shanghai, the office went underground, and Lin Xinping was sent to Yan'an to study at the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University. The importance of organization made her more diligent, and she not only studied the classic works of Marxism and Leninism on campus, but also received strict military training.
In 1938, Lin Xinping went to the Jiangnan Headquarters of the New Fourth Army as the deputy head of the Cultural and Labor Corps, where she began propaganda work, many young people because of her determination to resist Japan, the local armed guerrilla group expanded, some outstanding young people were also sent to the army, the local people called her "ChangHu Female Jie".
In 1941, Lin Xinping and Zhuge Shen, commander of the 47th Regiment of the 6th Division, 16th Brigade, of the New Fourth Army, admired each other in their work, felt affection for each other, and married a revolutionary couple, but during the war years, it was certainly difficult for them to get along for a long time, and Wu Su, the leader of the puppet army, defected to the enemy, and the organization decided to send Lin Xinping to work in the local area, and the newly married couple was separated.
Lin Xinping posted slogans and preached everywhere, and the masses united as one, and the enemy and the hypocrites were very angry, so they prepared to arrest Lin Xinping. In June 1942, Lin Xinping had just given birth to a child, fell ill after childbirth, and was very weak, so he moved to Rulin Town, Jintan County. After someone heard about it, he secretly reported it to Wu Su in order to offer a bounty, and he immediately surrounded the place where Lin Xinping lived.
Lin Xinping endured the pain, burned all the important documents, and then fought with the enemy, knowing that after hitting the last bullet, she was still captured, and Wu Su gave her to the Japanese army for credit.
The Japanese army was very happy and said to Lin Xinping: "You are a great hero, but as long as you surrender to us, let you and your husband become high officials." Of course, Lin Xinping scolded, the cruel Japanese army was ashamed and angry, and tortured her to the end, seeing that Lin Xinping still did not let go, so he pulled Lin Xinping's hair alive, stripped her blouse and used a wire through her chest, so he led her to the street, while beating her and forcing the surrounding masses to watch, in a vain attempt to deter them. However, their wishful thinking was seen through, and Lin Xinping was extremely distressed, still shouting: "The War of Resistance will definitely be victorious, and the New Fourth Army will definitely liberate you!" The crowd around them all covered their faces and wept.
On July 20, the enemy killed Lin Xinping at the Guanlin Primary School in Jintan County, and threw her body into a vat filled with sulfuric acid, the heroine's bones were gone, and her life stopped forever at the age of 23, poor her newlywed husband, poor baby who was still swaddling.
Jin Yinan once said: "Most of the bad ideas are Chinese themselves, Chinese did not fall under the enemy's guns, but died under the butcher's knife of the traitor." "We will always remember that period of history, although the Japanese army is hateful, but the most deserving of being spurned is those traitors, for a little profit, they turned their backs on their compatriots, which is the shame of the whole nation."
In order to commemorate the heroine, after the founding of New China, the local government erected a monument to Commemorate Lin Xinping at Guanlin Primary School, hoping that she would have knowledge and be relieved by this prosperous era.
