In 1936, Lin Xinping received an appointment from the organization to go to Shanghai with secret documents from southern Zhejiang.
In the same year, he joined our party under the introduction of Li Gang, the leader of the Shanghai underground party, and stayed in Shanghai to work at the traffic station, along with her brother Lin Yi. In 1937, the Shanghai office of the Eighth Route Army was established, and it was not long before the Battle of Songhu broke out. Three months later, after the fall of Shanghai, the office had to go underground, and Lin Xinping was also ordered to study in Yan'an. At the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, Lin Xinping's thinking was further sublimated and his conviction was strengthened.
Both political consciousness and military quality have been greatly improved, and in the spring of the following year, Lin Xinping, who had completed his studies, was transferred to his post. As the deputy head of the Cultural and Labor Corps in a detachment of the Jiangnan Headquarters of the New Fourth Army, his work was very excellent, expanding the local anti-Japanese armed guerrilla groups. She also sent many outstanding young people to the organization, and a female streamer did not let her eyebrows be raised, and led the masses to fight against the Japanese in a sinister environment, when the masses gave her the honorific title of Long Lady Jie.
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Lin Xinping fell in love with Zhuge Shen, who was also a comrade-in-arms, and married a revolutionary couple. Wu Su, the leader of the puppet army, openly defected to the Japanese and bribed the local evil forces. The organization sent Lin Xinping to work behind enemy lines, and she also bid farewell to her newly married husband. He went deep into the Guanlin area with six short gunmen and posted slogans warning that the traitors would not have a good end if they sabotaged the anti-Japanese resistance. In June 1942, Lin Xinping had to go to Rulin Town, Jintan County, Jiangsu Province, for medical treatment due to postpartum illness. As a result, Wu Su learned of this news and sent people to surround the Chinese medicine shop where she was located, and Lin Xinping hurriedly burned the important documents. Outnumbered, she was captured after she ran out of bullets and interrogated by the enemy. At first, it was indicated that as long as her husband obeyed, she could go back, but Lin Xinping resolutely refused. Instead, he scolded the enemy, and for this reason, Wu Su handed Lin Xinping over to the devil.
In the devil's case, she was treated worse and tortured one by one. Seeing that she could not move, the devil became angry and stripped her of all her clothes. He then passed wire into her breasts and led her through the streets to show her, intending to be shot in public. All this failed to overthrow Lin Xinping, whose anti-Japanese thinking was very firm and had already possessed a fearless spirit. The devil pulled her to show the public, and she used this to encourage the masses, saying: Defeat Hitler this year, defeat the Japanese Kou next year, the War of Resistance will definitely be victorious, and the New Fourth Army will definitely liberate you!"
This completely angered the devil, who killed him and threw him into a sulfuric acid tank, and she was only 23 years old when she died. War is cruel, and the reason why we can be in peacetime is because our ancestors carried the weight forward. The battle that began on the day of September 18, 89 years ago, is an event that the Chinese nation will never forget, it is a history of fighting for the survival of the nation, and it will always be remembered in the hearts of every Chinese descendant.
