In Meicheng, Anhui Province, more than 10 small-footed women were driven away by the Japanese for fun, and they were stabbed to death if they were slow!

Today, I want to talk about two tragic cases that occurred in Qianshan, Anhui Province, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

In Meicheng, Anhui Province, more than 10 small-footed women were driven away by the Japanese for fun, and they were stabbed to death if they were slow!

On June 19, 1938, the Banjing Detachment of the 6th Division of the Japanese Kou captured Meicheng Town in Qianshan County, Anhui Province, and due to the stubborn resistance of the Chinese anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians, the Japanese Kou retracted back to Anqing on August 26, but the enemy did not give up continuing to invade Meicheng, and by April 1943, the Japanese Kou had swept Meicheng three times in succession and carried out bloody massacres on the local people. During this period, the Japanese aircraft successively carried out more than 20 wild bombs on Meicheng, killing and injuring more than 600 residents and destroying more than 1,000 houses.

After the Japanese bombing, the 4 streets of Meicheng became a ruin, and an air raid shelter on the East Street was hit by a bomb dropped by the Japanese Kou, and more than 40 people in the cave were killed except for 2 people who survived.

Every time the Japanese Kou swept meicheng, they burned and killed everything, and the unarmed residents could not escape, and hundreds of people were killed. According to eyewitnesses, the Japanese found an air raid shelter outside the city, which contained more than 10 women with small feet, and the Japanese Kou dragged them to the entrance of the cave, stripped them of their clothes, drove them away for fun, and those who were slow to move were stabbed to death.

During the Japanese invasion and occupation of Meicheng, the City shrank at night, and during the day, they swept through the countryside and wantonly burned and plundered, and in Huangpu, Youkan, Fangwan and other places alone, more than 300 people were slaughtered, and more than 120 women were raped.

Due to the sworn resistance of the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians, the Japanese were often defeated, but every time the Japanese were forced to retreat, they cruelly implemented the "three lights" policy against the local people, and the chickens, pigs, cattle, and sheep of the local people were robbed, and the houses and shops were burned down.
