- A war without losers
Text/Jin Chengzhu (Anhui)
The Korean War, which we call the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, is the founding battle of New China, and its significance is extraordinary and great.
The Korean War was also a war without a defeat.
The Americans said they had won, won South Korea, Japan, and even undermined New China's plan to liberate Taiwan, consolidating its sphere of influence in the pacific island chain, maintaining and developing its hegemonic position.
The Soviets said they had won, which enabled the Americans to focus their energies on East Asia in the 1950s, with the time, space, energy, and ability to consolidate their European power, to prevent the infiltration and eastward expansion of Western capitalism, and to consolidate the socialist camp headed by big brother of the Soviet Union.

The Koreans won, and the Koreans did not occupy it by the U.S. military, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea remained independent.
The South Koreans won, they won without being occupied and reunified by North Korea, despite the long-term presence of their suzerainty, the U.S. Military, and the long-term payment of protection fees.
After the war, the United States was prepared and began to implement japan as an agricultural country to choke and completely destroy the ashes of Japanese militarism, but the Korean War made the Americans re-examine Japan, the East Asian island nation, to the strategic importance of the United States in the western Pacific. From this time on, the United States not only provided Japan with industrial equipment free of charge, but also rebuilt the industrial facilities destroyed by the US military during World War II, and implemented zero tariffs on trade with Japan for a long time, so that Japan suddenly became the world's second largest economy by means of the Korean War and after the Cold War, and reaped the benefits of fishermen, although it also had to pay protection fees every year.
China won even more.
Let's first look at the Yalta Agreement at the end of World War II and the relevant domestic and international situations that followed.
The Yalta Agreement stipulates that Outer Mongolia continues to maintain the status quo, which makes Outer Mongolia completely separated from China. The two high-quality ports of Lushun and Dalian are international free ports and are permanently managed by the Soviet Union. The South Branch Line of the Middle East Railway (Hada Line), which is connected to it, is half owned and operated by the Soviet side, and the Soviet side has troops stationed along the railway line in order to protect its operational interests.
It was an agreement that seriously undermined China's interests, but the weak countries had no diplomacy, and in that era (the Republic of China), China had no way to change the status quo. I could only pinch my nose and acquiesce to this agreement. This means that for a long time after World War II, Lushun and Dalian were extraterritorial places in China, with foreign troops stationed there, Chinese to go there, and even to enter and exit with passports.
And this kind of situation is exactly what the great man Mao Zedong disliked the most. At the beginning of the founding of New China, Mao Zedong proposed to take back the brigade, the big, and the ground in China, and did not need the troops of other countries, but the Soviets wanted too much to have the ice-free port he dreamed of, in the Far East and in the Pacific, so Stalin refused. At the same time, North Korea's General Kim was defeated by the U.S.-led coalition forces, and the next step was to plan to retreat to China's Changbai Mountains and form an exile regime. In the name of assisting defense, the Soviet army sent troops to northeast China, across the Yalu River from the US army, and China's only industrial base, the northeast, would likely be completely reduced to a battlefield.
In the face of the grim situation, New China disregarded its impoverished national strength and was not afraid of the equipment of the peasants' armed forces, and resolutely sent troops to Korea to engage in a hard-hitting confrontation with the US army and his coalition forces, which were armed to the teeth.
From October 1950 to The Dprk, without the support of foreign aid, it lasted two years and eight months, and the U.S. Army and his coalition forces were sent back to the area south of the 38th Line, completing five battles.
After five battles, the Soviet Union convinced the new comrade around it and began to assist, adding tanks, artillery, rocket launchers, and fighter jets, which were urgently needed by the volunteer army, and with these advanced weapons and equipment, the combat effectiveness of the volunteer army was like a tiger, and it developed from a peasant armed force into a modern armed force that was beginning to take shape.
After the victory of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, China took advantage of the victory and proposed that the Soviet army withdraw from Lushun and Dalian, but Stalin refused this time without any reason, and New China finally succeeded in recovering the sacrificed interests in the "Yalta Agreement."
Since 1953, the Soviet Union began to aid China's 156 industrial projects, so that China completed industrialization in a very short period of time, which is also the only country in the world after World War II to establish a complete industrial system, by the end of 2018, China's industrial PRODUCTION has reached the sum of the United States, Japan and Germany, ranking first in the world.
The victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea broke the Western countries headed by the United States and constantly imposed blockades and embargoes on The Economy of New China, completely smashed their beautiful dream of strangling New China in the cradle.
The victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea made both good and bad people in the world begin to respect the Chinese nation and re-examine and measure the weight and value of this nation.
The victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea was of extraordinary and great significance.
The Korean War is still a war that has lasted for 70 years, still has not ended, and is still a truce, but the great China has gone from standing up and getting rich to becoming strong.
