This matter has to start from the Kangxi Emperor, who in the early days of Kangxi can also be regarded as a vigorous effort, but the Nine Kings in his later years made him physically and mentally tired. Therefore, Kangxi's passive and sluggish government in his later years led to a deficit in the national treasury and a lot of mourning, leaving a mess for his son, the Yongzheng Emperor.
Fortunately, the Yongzheng Emperor was good at governing the country and knew more about Taoguang and obscurity, and after coming to power, he swept away the decline of the Kangxi Dynasty in the last years of the Kangxi Dynasty.
Of course, to manage a mess well, one person can't do it, not to mention that this mess is still a country. The Yongzheng Emperor was able to shoulder heavy responsibilities, and in order to reform the historical problems left by the Kangxi Emperor, he not only put on his own liver and guts, but also could not do without his appointment of talents. Among them, there were four more prominent sages: Zhang Tingyu, Ertai, Tian Wenjing, and Li Wei.
Through many measures, these four changed the emptiness of the late Kangxi Dynasty, allowing the Qing Dynasty to continue its life and regain its vitality. And they also became the favorites of the Yongzheng Emperor.
However, in August 1735, the Yongzheng Emperor died violently in Changchun Garden. The Jiangshan of the Qing Dynasty was officially handed over to the hands of the Fourth Brother, the Qianlong Emperor.
And the good days of Ortai and the other four Yongzheng favored ministers have also come to an end.
The life path of the four favorites
As the only Manchu among the four favorites of the Yongzheng Emperor, Ortai's family was not prominent. His grandfather was also only Tobe Langzhong of Masamune. In the thirty-sixth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, it was lifted, but unfortunately, after that, his career was not broad, and he was always very mediocre and could not be reused. It was not until the Yongzheng Emperor succeeded to the throne that there was a turnaround.
First of all, he worshiped the Inspector of Guangxi, and then went all the way up the clouds, successively serving as the minister of military aircraft, the minister of the interior of the leading guard, and many other positions, and also managed the affairs of the Hanlin Academy, and even had many titles, giving the title of Xiangqinbo.
Speaking of Zhang Tingyu, he was born in the Zhang family in Anhui Province, and had a father, Zhang Ying, who was an official to a university scholar. Zhang Tingyu was different from Ortai in that he entered high school during the reign of Kangxi Ye, and after entering the Southern Study, he entered the center of power. He had a lot of achievements during the Kangxi Dynasty, and after the Yongzheng Emperor succeeded to the throne, he was even more brilliant, holding many positions, and finally improving the system of the Military Aircraft Department.
Tian Wenjing, who was also Yongzheng's favorite subject, was a bannerman, a blue flag man of the Han Army. During the Kangxi Dynasty, he also had a bumpy career, and he has been tossing and turning in Changle County, serving as a magistrate for more than 20 years. Even if he was promoted to the central government, he only held a small position. It was also the Yongzheng Emperor who brought him a new life and rose all the way. Even later, when the Flood disaster in Henan was concealed and not reported, the Yongzheng Emperor was able to tolerate it, which was enough to see that the Yongzheng Emperor loved him.
Li Wei, the last favorite of the Yongzheng Emperor, was somewhat legendary.
Compared with the first three, Li Wei's family background can really only be said to be mediocre, nothing more than a little money, even his official position is not admitted, but bought. However, he was able to rise through the ranks in just a decade and hold various important positions. Finally, he became an important member of the imperial court and a great official of the tangtang feudal territory!
This is not a big deal, when the other three favored subjects were suppressed by the Qianlong Emperor, he could still be highly valued, and after his death, he was posthumously honored with Minda. Therefore, Li Wei seemed to be different from ordinary people from the other three favorites.
Grandpa Qianlong cleaned up one by one
Just as the so-called generation of Tianzi and the generation of subjects, even Qianlong Ye, who is known as the "Ten Perfect Old Man", is not uncommon.
At the beginning, in order to enable his son to sit firmly on the throne, the Yongzheng Emperor took great pains, and after his own operation, he was not at ease, and he got four assistant ministers for Qianlongye: Zhang Tingyu, Ertai, YunLi, and Yunlu.
However, when Qianlong Ye ascended the throne, he was already twenty-five years old, and it was precisely when he had great ambitions that he would not give these old ministers of the previous generation a chance at all.
Therefore, Qianlong Ye began to clean up one by one, and as soon as he came, he took his seventeen uncles to open the knife, and scared him to death in the third year of Qianlong. Uncle Sixteen was better, but not much better, and was forced to go home to retire. This is true of their flesh and blood relatives, and there is no difference between the other old ministers and the fish to be slaughtered on the chopping board.
Zhang Tingyu, an old minister of the Three Dynasties, was already two sideburns when Qianlong Ye was in power, but he was extremely important in the court, and even Qianlong Ye did not dare to attack at will.
During the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor, Zhang Tingyu was promised to enter the Taimiao Temple after death. In the Qing Dynasty under the rule of the Manchus, the Han people entered the Taimiao Temple but they did not dare to think of it, and Zhang Tingyu was really the only one!
In his old age, Zhang Tingyu thought of entering the Taimiao Temple, but he was afraid that Qianlong Ye would forget it, so he often reminded him.
This was good, and Qianlong Ye was hairy, gave him a false position, and threatened him not to let him enter the Taimiao Temple. Zhang Tingyu was terrified, but fortunately, in the end, Qianlong Ye still let him enter the Taimiao Temple.
Speaking of Ortai, before he died, Qianlong Ye did not make too much difficulty, and even after his death, he also gave him a taimiao temple and entered the Xianliang Ancestral Hall. However, his son Pit Daddy's skills were too strong, so that the dead Ortai were implicated, so that Qianlong Ye was removed from the Xianliang Temple. The late festival is saved, but the dead festival is not guaranteed!
Finally, talking about Tian Wenjing, Tian Wenjing did not wait for QianlongYe to ascend the throne, so he drove the crane west and returned, it is reasonable to say that Qianlongye can not do anything to him. However, many of these people had offended, and in the middle of Qianlongye's reign, the grave was leveled by the local tomb guards. What's that called? It also ended up with a dead end.
Li Wei is different, and it is difficult to escape the disaster?
Li Wei was also a favorite of the Yongzheng Emperor, but he seemed to be treated much better than the first three. He was a clean and honest official, and he was not afraid of power, and he was deeply loved by the people. It is reasonable to say that he is a bought official, and he will not be able to become a clean official no matter what!
However, he happened to be a great cleanser. Moreover, he was very shrewd, not as rigid as other Qing officials, and when the Yongzheng Emperor was alive, he was always mixed with Qianlong Ye. This may be the reason why he was still reused after Qianlong Ye succeeded to the throne.
Unfortunately, Li Wei died relatively early, and he returned to the west at the age of fifty-one. At that time, Qianlong Ye was deeply saddened, and was buried and given the name Minda. But it's not over yet. A good end is a good end, but it is difficult to say after the end.
Once, Qianlong, who liked to tour the south, toured the south again, and he accidentally found in the West Lake Flower Temple that there was actually a statue of Li Wei and his wife and concubine, and was called "Hushan God Seat". This is good, Qianlong Ye's heart is uncomfortable, his former courtiers are actually more influential than him, this is still necessary?
Therefore, Qianlong Ye issued an edict, saying: "Wei Yang borrowed the Emperor Kao En's family, willful and arrogant, and was initially unjust and pure subjects." The name of the temple is very strange! "It means that Li Wei this guy is good to him, he is pampered and proud, not a good minister."
Later, the idol was burned. Although Li Wei was different from the other three Yongzheng favored subjects, he was highly valued by Qianlong Ye before his death, but it was still difficult to save his death after death. It's really sad.

Qianlong Ye cleaned up Yongzheng's favored subjects one by one, even if he died, he really responded to the sentence that a heavenly son and a courtier. Even if the old ministers of the previous generation had the ability to do something, Qianlong Ye still had a knot in his heart, and only when he was pulled up by a novice would he be relieved. Moreover, Qianlong Ye may not really reuse Li Wei, but see that Li Wei is still young and squeeze out the surplus value first. When Li Wei was old, he cleaned up again, but he did not expect Li Wei to suddenly die of illness and did not give QianlongYe a chance to make trouble.
