BYD's scientific and technological strength is not only strong, but also too strong to be short-boarded. Specific to the three subdivisions of invention patents, utility model patents and design patents, BYD also ranked first in the top two with the most scientific and technological content, with the number of patents reaching 4368 and 3997 respectively, and also ranked in the top three in the field of design patents. Especially in terms of the most innovation-intensive invention patents, BYD's 4368 are more than the sum of the number of invention patents in the 2nd-7th place, compared with the average of the other top 19, BYD has reached a staggering nearly 14 times!
