The exterior of the new car has been redesigned, not to continue the Dragon Face of the Imperial Family, but to design with the ocean as the theme, in line with the name of "destroyer". The front face has no border mesh and blends perfectly with the front bar, and the "BYD" logo blends into the black trim and extends to the headlights on both sides to enhance the visual impact of the front face.
The body side does not use the usual upward waistline of most models nowadays, but the tail adopts a slipback shape, stretching the visual length of the body side while creating a distinctive sporty atmosphere.
The most eye-catching part of the tail should be the taillights of the destroyer 05. The seemingly ordinary through-line taillights have added thin strips of chrome trim, with the dot matrix taillight style that echoes before and after, making the tail of the new car more recognizable.
In the interior part, the destroyer 05 still adopts a more regular T-shaped layout, 8.8-inch full LCD instrument + 15.6-inch full-touch central control screen, all adopt a suspension design, at the same time, the UI of the screen has been readjusted, and the look and feel is clearer and more intuitive.
The most obvious change in the car is the new barrier style, the knob type electronic barrier appeared in the destroyer 05 car, the surrounding function buttons are basically related to driving, and the button area is more distinct.
The seats have also been redesigned to adopt the usual one-piece seats of sports models to improve the safety of the driver and occupants, while better stabilizing the seating posture of the driver and passenger, and improving the safety and stability of the driver and occupants.
In the power part, the new car will be equipped with BYD DM-i super hybrid system, using a 1.5L plug-in hybrid special engine + permanent magnet synchronous motor. Destroyer 05 is the second model of BYD Marine series, although the overall size of the car, as well as the power system is close to Qin PLUS, but from the newly designed appearance, interior, can give consumers a new sensory experience.
