According to the introduction, Samsung Xi'an Semiconductor Factory is the second time that South Korea's Samsung Electronics has established a semiconductor production plant overseas after entering Austin in the United States in 1996, which is the largest investment project in the history of Samsung Electronics' overseas investment, the largest foreign investment project in the domestic electronic information industry since China's reform and opening up, and the largest foreign-invested high-tech project introduced in Shaanxi and the western region.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung's Xi'an flash memory manufacturing plant entered an emergency operation on Friday (December 24), and the company is considering keeping key employees in the factory to reduce contact with the outside world.

At present, the epidemic situation in Shaanxi is at a critical juncture. According to the People's Daily, on December 28, there were 151 new local confirmed cases in Shaanxi, all in Xi'an City.
