Yonhap News Agency recently reported that Samsung's Xi'an flash memory manufacturing plant entered an emergency operation on Friday (December 24), and the company is considering keeping key employees in the factory to reduce contact with the outside world.

The company has two large factories in Xi'an, both of which are used to manufacture 3DNAND (three-dimensional flash memory, mainly for SSD products) high-rise products, accounting for 42.3% of the company's total NAND flash production capacity and 15.3% of global production capacity.
