Why like her word, I can't say, is like, always like. Her name is Zhou Huijun, a famous calligrapher in Shanghai. On December 27, Mr. Zhou Huijun passed away at the age of 83. I hadn't met her, but loved her words.
I originally thought she was a man, but in the early 1990s, I subscribed to Shanghai Literature, and I especially liked the four words "Shanghai Literature" on the cover, feeling energetic and energetic. It wasn't until a few years later, when I talked to people, that I learned that Zhou Huijun was a female calligrapher, and she had suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since she was a child, so she had sought medical treatment and tried her best. Looking at her calligraphy again, it hurts a little more.
I don't have many books in my collection, but there are several books that Hui Jun inscribed the title of this week, such as "One Hundred Poems of Tang Dynasty", "Li Bai", "Summary of Rhetoric" and so on. Zhang Zhigong, the author of "Rhetorical Summary", also wrote her name as "Zhou Huijun", and the editor was careless and did not change it. The magazine I subscribe to, Harvest, also often has the names of her inscribed works. When I saw her words, I loved to look at her twice, and I felt that her words were beautiful, tense, thick and thick, and evocative. Calligraphy critics commented on her in this way: the calligraphy is majestic and atmospheric, vigorous and free; the calligraphy is dignified and steady, square and rounded; the seal book is elegant, the ink is exquisite, and the eloquent is eloquent. But I think the comments are still too general.
Zhou Huijun was very fortunate to receive instructions from famous calligraphers such as Shen Yinmo, Gong Delin, and Weng Minyun. Among them, a sentence by Shen Yinmo has influenced her life, that is, "to learn books, you must first learn to hang your wrist, and at the same time, people must stand upright, and the pen and ink can move with the heart, move freely, and swing freely." The master's instructions are vernacular, like a layer of window paper, if it is broken, there is no hole in the sky. Zhou Huijun captured it and realized it.
Looking at her words, I always think of the sentence describing the jujube tree in Lu Xun's prose "Autumn Night": "He simply fell out of the leaves, leaving only the dried, but when he took off the arc when the tree was full of fruits and leaves, it was very comfortable to stretch." However, a few of them were still low, protecting him from the skin wounds he had obtained from the poles of the jujube, and the straightest and longest branches were already silently piercing the strange and high sky like a subway. The jujube branches in Lu Xun's eyes were "iron-like", and I felt that Zhou Huijun's strokes were as hard as jujube branches, revealing a kind of stubbornness and thoroughness.
Mr. Zhou Huijun can write such a meteorological word, naturally there are roots and sources, and he has suffered enough. Xi Kaishu takes Ouyang Qing and Yan Zhenqing as the background, and at the same time draws on the strengths of the various families. Cursive writing takes the book Saint Wang Xizhi as a model, taking into account the essence of famous artists such as Mi Fu. Her words, no fat powder, no little woman's weakness, have everyone's weather. Mencius said, "What is full is beauty, what is full and radiant is great, what is great and transformed is holy, and what is holy but unknowable is God." "Because of the brilliance of its inner cultivation, it can do whatever it wants, so large that it can be transformed into a realm." I dare not say that Zhou Huijun's calligraphy art has reached the realm of Mencius, but her calligraphy has a full beauty and great beauty.
Mr. Zhou Huijun is sober, she said in her later years: "When I am old, I have a lot of ideas, I am more and more dissatisfied with my works, and I always feel that I can write better, but my mental, physical strength, and ideological strength have declined... You know what to change, but you don't know how to change, you can't break through, this is the so-called 'calligraphy journey', this 'suffering' accompanies people for life. ”
The true meaning of art is unique. Can change me, influence my art, I think is good, just like Zhou Huijun, because of beauty, so beautiful; because of like, so like.
May Mr. Zhou Huijun rest in peace.
